the only thing extreme about the radio is IF it has G M R S service then it is a real radio if no it is just a radio with a half a watt transmitter used to keep kid's in line at a mile and mom is at mission control calling the shots. I am a licensed radio operater
What really bothers me is that it's clear you don't have any idea of how you untwist the center lines on "normal" bars, or in your case of your old bars, which is actually really simple and also a safety feature. Because of that it's clear that you're not suited to give any advice on whether tech or features are good or not and therefore I am not sure why you would advertise or put your knowledge out there for people to be consumed without being anything but an expert of the things you're talking about. I can't say you should stop what you're doing but please state at the beginning of the video that you're everything but an expert for kiting and you should definitely not give advice to buy things. This can really mislead people. Thank you
Hi! Cool that you're making a review but consider that it's heavily biased. You're comparing a brand new, €730 bar (for which you have to pay €90 separately if you want your chicken loop) with old used bars from almost 10 years ago. For the review to be fair you would have to compare it to new equipment from other brands or just not mention them, especially since most of them (including ocean rodeo, with their stick shift bar) offer similar features. This also does not consider duotones issues with lines and durability. I think these are issues that should be adressed in the review!
Thanks for watching Arty. I've heard of problems with lines but it's my understanding they have resolved those? This is just a review of my personal experience with this equipment and will hopefully help others who are new to the sport. Your points are valid, this is my own experience. I'm happy to update this if issues arise in the future or people can always comment and ask for a long term update.
@@AdventureRig yes of course! The format is great and it would be cool to see more reviews in this style if you manage to get your hands on more gear. It was just about being fair to other brands as this might give viewers the impression that duotone is leaps ahead everyone else! (they make great kites let's be clear, the evo is one of my favourites but they do come at a premium and with less than ideal durability)
I was looking for something for my wife, checked out this video, and started with "hey..... this lady looks familiar.... but there's no airplane.."🤣 I didn't know you guys had another channel
I just wipe it clean. We really like Nikwax products but I would have to think any wax product from your local outdoor store will do the trick. Check out this product: amzn.to/3MUKCTp I'm not around the jacket at the moment so I can't double check the materials that the outer is made with but you could call Klim and double checkt. I would definitely make sure to test a small area first as wax can easily change the overall look of your garment. Hope this helps!
Thanks for the response. I have the same jacket and also just wipe it down but after 5 years of ownership I'm thinking I should probably do something about the stink on the inside 😂
Was looking at Osprey and other good hiking hydration back packs with a minimum 3L water system and this is by far the best I’ve seen that checks the boxes for me in terms of functions, capacity, trek pole harness, and comfort. This model isn’t the easiest to find as Camelbak has updated it and I don’t like the new ones but fortunately I found the model you’ve shown. Doing the South Grand Canyon in a month. Thanks!
You say up to 4 persons can connect. Does that mean that if Person 1 says something, the other 3 persons can hear? I just want to be sure you don’t have to switch between users, but that all 4 people are on a common line.
We didn't have enough to test with that many people but I believe it would be an open line and everyone would hear. Almost as if you all 4 had walkie talkies, you'd all hear everyone's comms. But I would recommend reaching out directly to Sena and double checking with them! They will be able to tell you for sure.
Hey billy am tavares next believe can oay you for cool jacket 5 childeren in house.until aunt see them.said they for sale usely cost nomual opicatement depited in for you two day early
I believe the htydro flask and Orca would have performed even better if there were of similar size. With that said, the Orca isnHANDS DOWN the most impressive!
"stock clutch pack is known to wear quickly and is not too reliable" I don't know, my clutch is running perfectly fine for 32000km, 70% offroad, 30%road. Biggest problem, in my opinion, is that people tend to slip this clutch like it's some 250cc mx bike. Camel ADV 1 finger clutch is nice option to work in difficult terrain, with that it becomes way more easy to control the clutch. In my opinion this is one of the best bikes, I have 2019 790 Adventure, just need to look after it, because KTM is pushing limits in power of their engines, so change the oil, change the filters and this bike will give You lots of happy moments. But I'm also looking at Rekluse torq drive :D So thanks for the video.
Haha! Thanks for watching and commenting. We read horror stories online about the stock clutch and since we were traveling to Mex/central America we wanted to make sure we were 100% as dialed as possible. For me, that meant having this clutch pack installed. Agree with the Camel ADV 1 finger clutch, esp for the more technical terrain.
Well done. However for a newbie type of video (me) when you are showing details of the bearings and seals, it would be helpful if you could bring the camera in closer so I can see the details.
