Dude, how can you spout all this misinformation? At 14:25 in your video you say it is now California compliant! WRONG! You have no chamber indicator or magazine disconnect installed!!!!! You may talk about how to make those right, but you don't show it and more importantly if someone builds this and uses their gun in a shooting or if they carry using a CCW, and shoot it or God forbid kill a POS, they will be put in jail and probably loose every cent they earned in their life (due to civil law suits) because you told them they now have a CA compliant gun. They Don't! take this video down or change the video please. There is plenty of people who are trying to carry and do so legally. This type of stuff just make it so much harder for law abiding citizens to understand how to carry legally in the communist state of California.
Hi! It's indeed California compliant. California law prohibits sale of NEW firearms without two out of the three "safety features" (loaded chamber indicator, magazine disconnect, manual safety). The law does not prohibit the person who has purchased the firearm from removing any of those features. You're perfectly within your legal rights to modify your firearms as long as you don't turn them into assault weapons (by CA definition: threaded barrel, pistol grip on semiauto rifles with detachable magazines, etc. etc.)
@@A2Firearms Are you an attorney? Because I agree to disagree my friend. And if you are a CCW holder, I hope for you and your families sake, you never have to use your so called "California Complaint" handgun in an action that law endowment has to become involved and you are in a Soros funded DA's county (or similarly minded).
Hi A2 Firearms well I took the test today I watched and studied your content and passed the test it took me about 8 minutes total to take the test thank you so much for helping all of us with your phenomenal video 😀👍
Was nervous about the test and found this video watched the full thing and was confident taking my test 1hr later and passed with 0 misses on my test, TY A2 Firearms!
@@jdrums5555 No, there are far fewer questions on the test than what's explained in this manual. We go over the entire published manual, and the test questions are based on the manual as well.
Hi A2 Firearms just wondering are all the test questions you went through on the actual test ? if so I guess I could just memorize them and take the test please let me know thanks in advance ☺️ 👍

Great info! I did exactly like you showed and...almost nailed it! My slide release lever somehow came off during the surgery. After a moment of panic, I found that the little spring that was then visible needed to be on top of the lever to retain it. With a little bit of maneuvering, I got it back onto the lever and we're good to go.
Thought I would “upgrade” my standard P365 to a P365x. Bought a WC XL grip on sale and found a True Precision optics-ready slide at a good price. Slide didn’t come with sights or pats, so added $100 parts kit, $140 barrel, $40 guide rod/spring, and $110 sights. With just those parts, I was already $250 over the price of a new P365 X, which would have come with a FCU, mags, and a case. One of the dumbest things I’ve ever done in terms of pistol upgrades.
The beauty of using the comp slide is that it works with the original 3.1" barrel... so no need to swap. If you run the regular slide without the integral compensator then you'll need to use the longer barrel as well. So it'll be a heavier mod with more muzzle rise and more expensive as well.
A 10rd Xmacro instead of 17rds? You might as well stick with an XL if you can't take advantage of the extra rounds due to CA compliance, but what a waste
I see what you're saying, but the X-Macro grip is still about 1/2" longer than the XL which works better for my hands. We're also fighting the good fight in CA and hope the 10rd magazine ban will be overturned for good. Fingers crossed.
you dont have to buy the p365xl slide. just buy the XMACRO lower, and cut about half an inch at the end and you will have an XMACRO with the short slide of the p365/p365x as seen in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yh43BWFGZlc.html
The constant lecturing on gun safety was getting annoying. I don't watch videos like this to be lectured. I dare say most of us understand the dangers around handling firearms.
I'm sorry you didn't like those parts. We tailor these videos for all expertise levels. As an NRA Firearms Instructor, I can tell you I've seen enough people out at the range doing things incorrectly that I believe it helps reiterate the safety points for those who don't know it.
Not quite. I practically made a new gun and it cost me about 40% cheaper than buying the X-Macro outright. I also didn't have to register a new gun and wait 10 days to receive it, and did not have to take another CCW qualification to add a new handgun to my CCW license. All those benefits and cost savings, in my opinion, were worth exploring.
Yeahhhh, you basically bought a second gun. If yoh buy another FCU and a recoil spring you would have a second gun. If it works for your laws then great but for the average person this is wayyyyyy over the top. Just go online buy a slide and barrel complete, a grip mod, FCU and then you are done. Will cost the same amount or a bit cheaper than buying a stock gun
@@A2Firearms Passed! Allot of it was coming sense as well i did take a online handgun safety course a few years back so i somehow retained some information lol

Hey Man, I have a 229-Pro. Do you know of anyone that makes an extended take down lever for this pistol? I really need something to rest my thumb on. Other than that, I love the gun. Thanks!!
Hey Mike, I haven't heard of an extended takedown lever for the P229, but the next best options I've heard of are: 1. Armory Craft Sport Take Down Lever which extends out a bit so you can rest your thumb on. They make a couple different ones and I've put the link for both of those below. Hope that helps. Not just yet. Sig does not sell the AXG grip separately just yet. I'm sure they'll do so soon, and I'll be creating a video about that once that time comes. I'd suggest following/subscribing to our channel so you get notified when the time comes.
Agree 100%. Those were to break in the mag. My carry ammo is normally JHP. However I do carry a mag of FMJ in case I have to punch through a solid barrier.
The military uses this one: a2firearms.com/break-free-clp121-clp-12-oz/ My comment about the military using CLP wasn't regarding a specific brand, but regarding the fact that the military does indeed use CLP. There's debate about whether or not you should use CLP vs. using cleaner and lubricant separately, so I was making the point that if the military is ok with using CLP given their demands for reliable performance, then I'd be ok with it as well.
Is it legal in ca to remove the magazine disconnector and carry the gun? Wich metal grip module (xl format) is recomended. How do you recomend to cut a grip module without safety gap to adapt it to ca firing module? THANKS!
It is not illegal to remove the magazine disconnect if you own the firearm. The law says that new firearms submitted for testing to be listed on the CA Handgun Roster must have two of the three features (one of them being a Magazine Disconnect), but it does not bar the owner from removing it.
For metal grip modules I recommend Icarus. They make a nice metal platform and have it both with and without manual safety. For modifying a grip module without manual safety to be able to accommodate a manual safety, I've used a dremmel tool with great success.
Thank you. I'm glad you found it helpful. It shoots AMAZING, and I LOVE IT. Yes, it's my carry piece. I've had it for 7 years and I've been carrying it for 6 years now. I love the consistency, accuracy, and the fact that it never jams if you take care of it. I have smaller pieces that are also on my CCW but choose to carry this one because of its reliability. Last week we went to the desert and I was hitting soda bottles at 80 yards. Sub 1" groupings at 25 yrds.
So your only one step from having a normal sig sauer p365 x macro you got rid of the magazine disconnect and the loaded chamber disconnect 😂😂 just get rid of the safety
😂🤣😂 That's the one feature I actually do like. Just a personal preference. I train drawing from the holster and taking the safety off in the same move.
Good question 🙂 The most common is when someone tries to clear the weapon but switches the steps, so instead of ejecting the magazine, then racking the slide, they rack the slide, then eject the mag. So they chamber a round (or another one), then eject the mag.
The parts that you got for your XM road for the P3 65 do you have to get the gun registered or is it already registered? How do you go by getting the parts and go through the legalities of changing that gun over?
No need to re-register your gun. Those parts are unserialized. You'll transfer your Fire Control Unit (FCU) which is the ONLY part that has a serial number. This will give you the freedom to customize your slide, your grip module, etc. without having to register a new weapon.
@@royburkettjr7170 Not cheaper or more expensive. Just that Sig doesn't have a CA-Compliant X-Macro so I decided to go this route. All you need is the X-Macro grip module, compensator slide, and recoil spring assembly. I've listed the parts in the description section of the video. Hope that helps.

I have a 92x not red dot ready but I love it it is my first gun I bought, I bought a PPQ and a PX4 compact (Beretta) made in Italy. Do your wife like to shoot too? Mine doesn't like it. She said that is scary to her but I'm here to protect her. I can't find any of these pistols online and I want one.
My wife shoots a .22 LR. The recoil on the larger calibers affects her accuracy, but I think that may change with practice. Which pistol are you trying to buy? We have a large selection of them in stock at a2firearms.com
@@A2Firearmsnext pistol is possibly another 92 or FN FNX-9 I love hammer fired and the decocker too. My wife is right handed and I'm left handed so we can use it if she has to. My son loves that one he fired one of them, his friend has one. I appreciate you sharing your store with me. I'm gonna sign up now.
Bought a Beretta 92FS Inox Italy made, what I don't like about it? Recoil guide rod, trigger and magazine base plates are metal. Now need to spend an extra $25 on a metal guide rod and spring! The oil on the new Beretta 92 FS is for preservation not shooting. Just spray down the firearm with cleaner/ degrease like from Breakthrough. That being said mines wasn't that oily.
Hi @leoguy1609! You literally blew my mind with that piece of info about the oil. I was so bewildered I actually placed a call to Beretta, which confirmed your statement. I've been doing it wrong for years. Went ahead and lubed my gun. I appreciate your comment. I do agree with you on the guide rod as well... I prefer metal too. Ads a bit of weight, but more durable. Personally I don't mind the weight since it adds even more stability to an already stable platform.
