I had a 4 row one, that allowed a handwritten slip in so you'd always know where to put the cassette back if you had emptied them all out or to know if one of your friends had borrowed a cassette you could click a red nob on that spot
Huh, that's cool, never seen something for storing them outside of the cases. Would people hand write end labels for them or was it more of a cassette roulette situation?
