The show has become ugly and cruel IMO. I stopped watching halfway through the last episode. Homelander is even becoming tiresome to me. Frenchie is a nonstop whiner. Butcher and MM keep repeating the same "i hate you but I need you" plot point, splitting and getting back together over and over again. The way the show treats Hughie is revolting to me. I just don't like it anymore.
@@ObRefOfficial well in the comics is more of a race of the search for her while Wiccan and Speed are searching for their spiritual? mother but also Wiccan who believe at that point his powers were magic. his powers started acting out cause they were actually reality bending not magic and thats why his goes looking for her. But then you have the xmen and avengers looking for her too. so idk who they are going to make the rivals in that movie.
The show will be set in 1939-40, the year that Batman as a character debuted, which is really cool. Most of the characters, particularly Batman, Alfred, and most of the villains all have their Golden Age designs. Harley obviously never had one, so they based her costume off of the old harlequin dolls they sold back in the day, which had the same color scheme. Onomatopoeia didn’t have one either, but that was remedied but just giving him a black suit. Villains were confirmed to be getting are Catwoman, Fire Bug (yes, not Firefly, Fire Bug. Fire Bug was basically the original Firefly from waaaay back in the day, so they’re keeping with the Golden Age theme), Two-Face, Penguin, Onomatopoeia (the guy you mistook for Black Mask), Clayface (red scarf), Gentleman Ghost (likely the blue skull), and Nocturna (likely the black smoke possessing Alfred).
I’m not familiar with Onomatopoeia, that only gets me more excited. The Golden Age vibes mixed with the 90’s animated series vibes are what’s selling me on this for sure! -Pat
The second it was announced it was going to be a contender of whatever year it was released, though it’s going to have to go a long way to beat All Of Us Strangers as the best thing I’ve seen this year.
Thanks! Early box office numbers plus Pixar’s new strategy makes me believe we will see a third movie. It’s hard to see what event they’d frame it around while still being kid friendly. My immediate thoughts went to first love or leaving for college, but both of those would be pretty mature for kids. I hope they have they have the patience to not greenlight another until they find the right framework.
@@ObRefOfficial Lol yes- when walking away, i knew the prospects of a sequel could definitely happen, but to remain kid friendly would be difficult. Pixar can’t and should not attempt mature material.. i think enough backlash has struck in their court- maybe a direct sequel could work?
Really excited for this one. I'm more of an Alien fan as I love the claustrophobic, survival horror type of film but it is hard to choose because Aliens was so good, but I gotta give the edge to Alien. I love the fact that Alien: Romulus will be sort of a cross between the two films (Remus part of the ship will be the Alien vibe and the Romulus section of the ship will be the Aliens aesthetic) and have that intense horror element like Alien and the action scenes like we got with Aliens. This is my most anticipated film of the year. So pumped for it!!
You and me both! I thought the rumors were too good to be true, but here we are! Even if the rest of the showcase was a 10/10, I still would have popped off the hardest for Astro Bot.
I DONT NO WHAT THE 2 GUYS TOP & BOTTOM SAW BUT THE 1ST PIC WAS REVIEWED BY ATOP PYCHOTHERAPIST WHO SAID HIS MANNERISMS WERE SPOT ON ENUFF THAT HE PLANNED ON USING THE PIC IN HIS CLASSES- IT WAS DEEP ENUFF! THIS 1 I GIVE A 50/50 CHANCE OF DOING AS WELL B.O./ROTTON TOMATOES😮😢😅😊
It’s called Pokerogue. It’s a fan made pokemon roguelite. If you want to see some more gameplay weve streamed it twice in the last two weeks and are going live again tomorrow at 5:30 PM PST.
Some of Kristin and I's favorite games of all time are only a few hours long. I think it's even become more common for us as we've gotten older to prefer shorter games, since we have less free time. The Last of Us Part II example was spot on. I found it so difficult to finish that game because it felt like it just kept going on and on. I've replayed the original at least twice, but I don't think I'd ever go back to Part II. As for Hellblade, I think it being the type of game that it is makes it sort of impossible to skimp on any sort of fidelity. $50 games are the new $40 games, just as $70 games are the new $60 games. I know it sucks, but unfortunately that's just how it is with the cost of making games getting higher and higher. Side note, I see old flyers for SNES games priced at $70 from time to time and those are from the early nineties!
Totally agree with your first point. As Ive gotten older and have more disposable income but less free time story driven games have been more appealling to me. When I had more free time but less disposable income I was playing tons of multiplayer games with essentially infinite play time. That exemplifies why I said depending on who you are and where you are in life, price and hours of gameplay will matter more or less to you. -Austin
Let me stop you right now endgame was stupid Loki was the best thing marvel ever did it was so good I was crying for Loki 😂😂😂 m e personally I love X-Men even named my fist son after Charles but Loki Takes it home for me and I want more 😊😊😂
Loki's phenomenal! We didn't discuss it much on the channel when season 2 dropped but it's easily one of my favorite Marvel projects. And that's coming from a former Loki hater!
Honestly? Not that hot of a take! As a standalone movie, I would absolutely agree with you. But Endgame is the payoff to the 10+ years of story that had come before, and that's no simple feat
