i had the same hp tower for some time paired with a 1050 ti and it was honestly good for its price. I eventually did upgrade recently when i was given a free ryzen 7 cpu but the fact that the old tower held as good as it did even in some more modern games and for being 13 years old surprised me.

MBP 15, mid-2010. I have upgraded the RAM (from 4GB to 8GB), the storage (Samsung SSD 500GB) and the battery. Often though, while using Office for Mac or simply surfing, it shuts down unexpectedly. It is really annoying. Any thoughts whether I need to upgrade anything else, motherboard for instance?
