Nice job I saw you struggling with some snapping on that last building. Sometimes when you're trying to get a piece to snap somewhere it helps if you look away from the blocked snap point so the game "forgets" it's an issue and uses the other available snap points. It's tricky to get it done but I'm frequently amazed at how much the camera has to do with what actually works in game.
It too might be how the small floor parts are placed. Usually if they face the correct way it's easier to snap into place. Along with how you angle the screen like said above.

Heydeeho, Glantri. Since your Intelligence is actually high enough (compared to my character Ice Cream!'s INT of 2) you *really* need to get the perk Comprehension. It gives you extra points to your book learning (Tumblers Today, Chinese Sneak books, etcetera), it also gives you a +20 to all magazines - instead of +10 - and those magazines last 2x longer. So with a Science at 55, you read a magazine, you will have Science at 75 for twice as long as without Comprehension. And you can get rid of those 2lb books in your inventory by reading them. 😁👍 Oh yes! I saw that you left the Strip Snowglobe in the Cocktail Lounge inside the Lucky 38. It is just next to, and a touch behind, the cash register along the back wall (NOT the counter facing the windows). When you leave the Cocktail Lounge elevator and enter the Lounge, turn right and keep looking to your right until you find the register, stop and look around the register. You should find the Snowglobe. 👍 A bummer that the stream failed. But at least you were able to fix the title card, and have a long stream again. 😊 Be Excellent, my friend, and Party on. 🤘😎🎸

I hope your son heals quickly. 😊 By the way, you are sick with advanced dehydration, and you are starving (4 bouts of waiting 13 hours at a time). You are receiving Health, Strength, Endurance, and I believe Perception debuffs. So you can't carry as much, or hold weapons as well, you cannot aim as well, and your health is lower meaning you are easier to kill. Oh, yes, and to gain another 2lbs of carryweight, read the Wasteland Survival Guide you are carrying in your Aid menu. If you are waiting to get the best points from books, you are nearly leveling up, get the perk Comprehension. Then read your books to add more carrying capacity. 😁 Great episode. 42:22 ED-E was not destroyed. You didn't need to load earlier saves. ED-E was just unconscious. After dealing with the rest of the threats in the area he will wake up. Also, I really recommend grabbing Armor Piercing 5.56 ammo for That Gun as you continue fighting robots, and Marked Men in armor. Also, find a gun that uses Hollow Point ammo against the Tunnelers. They are basically quick animals with no armor. Hollow Point does well against those. Sadly Tunnelers are abominations and are not affected by the Animal Friend perk. But that is still a good perk to have. Even if only Rank 1. Oh yes, speaking of perks, do NOT get 'Here and Now' that is a waste of a point. I mean, yes, you bypass all of the XP you get to get to the next level but it is kind of pointless. I'm still watching. Howdy-hey Glantri. 👋😁 Just to let you know, at 15:00 when it says BoS (Cambridge PD or Prydwyn) it does not mean the Prydwyn is already at the airport. It means you can wait until after you - or Heather 😉 - kills Kellogg, and the Prydwyn arrives, before you choose to take her to see the BoS. Or, if you don't want to wait that long, take her to Cambridge PD where Danse is located to get more affinity points with her. You do not need to help Danse (I don't. I cheat and use console commands to No Clip through the Cambridge PD garage doors, then open them to allow my follows in, then enter the PD from the door in the garage). Heather then gets her affinity points by being where the BoS are located, and you can leave (or talk to her if you have achieved a certain level of affinity with her). But you do not need to side with, or help the BoS at all if you choose. Or you can talk to Danse, agree to help him with the transponder, enter the PD through the front door, and Heather will then get her affinity points and make a comment about the BoS. Heather does not get angry if you choose to side with the Railroad or Institute either. The only faction she gets pissed to the point of leaving you is if you join with Raiders in Nuka World. Heather HATES raiders even more than Synths. 35:00 in. The places Heather wants to visit (in this example Super Duper Mart) in which "she didn't really do anything". Actually she did. Going to the places on the list increases her affinity with you by +25 points. And she makes comments about the location you are at. Also, as you take her to the 3 junkyards (the Robot Junkyard [nearby Sanctuary Hills, up the actual road north of the quarry, and Northwest of Listening Station Olivia], the junkyard just east of Saugus Ironworks [across the road from The Slog], the junkyard is filled with Gunners, and, finally, the last one Scrap Palace is located south of WRVR on the road to Sommerville Place, and is filled with super mutants) she makes comments about how she needs to scrap junk better. So as you take her to those 3 locations you first raise her affinity points with you, and she starts selling more and better scrap in her store. So instead of a shipment of Cork - 5, it will be Cork - 5(2) or 5(3). She will be able to offer more for you to buy. The higher you increase her affinity she will enjoy hanging out with you, and slowly give you discounts in her store. You can also romance her, eventually. So taking her places she wants to go on her list raises her affinity. Plus she can hack terminals for you. She needs to start off with Novice terminals. But after 5 of those she can then hack Advanced terminals. After 5 of those she can hack Expert terminals. 5 of those and she maxes out at hacking Master locked ones. Also, if you have the mod Everyone's Best Friend, you can have Doggo, Heather, and a vanilla Companion with you. With Everyone's Best Friend enabled you can have Dogmeat, Heather, AND Lone Wanderer perk with no penalties (until you add a Vanilla Companion to your group). At 43:00 You should be able to tell Heather to stay. It is a common thing. But I have noticed, not just with her, but all Companions, if you stand too close to them or come up to them a bit too quickly, the only options you get are to speak with them. Though I did see that you had the keystroke for Heather that says 'Move'. That should change to 'Stay' as well. If not it might be a strange glitch with Horizon. But I can tell her to move as well as Stay. Though I often want to get into the Trade menu (same menu as the 'Stay' offering) and she gets into her Talk options. It isn't a glitch with the mod. I get that with all the Companions, including Dogmeat. 🙄😏 Oh, yes, and I don't know if you've done it yet, but in her dialog menu you can ask to talk about something else, then "Are there anymore options?" She will open another dialog tree that allows you to set her Combat style, and how close (or far) she stands by you. I, personally, choose Enhanced Sneak. That way she doesn't run off and attack everything, thus drawing enemies possibly towards you. And she won't attack anything until you do. So, sometimes you will see threats hitting Heather and she is just crouching, or standing there not doing anything. That is Enhanced Sneak. She's not taking damage, and she won't engage until you do first. And I have her Combat Distance set for Close. I like her and want her close in order to hear her random dialog, and singing. Plus Close does not mean on top of you as Vanilla Companions. That can happen sometimes inside hallways. But overall she still keeps a good distance even set to Close. Heather really is the best Companion ever made for Fallout 4. 😍 1:15:45 Yes, you had 9 Radaway, took one after jumping into Sully's "pool" before killing the 2 mirelurks (and this location only has 2, not 3. But one is always a harder one. Like a Razorclaw, or legendary, while the other is a standard one). But, yes, you should have 8 Radaway left, but I can't figure out where Horizon puts stuff in your inventory. I would think in Healing and Medical. But it puts a stealthboy in there with Stimpaks. But no Radaway. Horizon is getting me flustered. And I'm only watcging you play. If I played it I'd probably stress out with frustration. lol 2:41:00 I was surprised to see that the Starlight Storage Room was an interior cell. lol. Nice looking player home. It kind of looks a bit like one Elianora would buold. Yet it also looks a bit more weathered than her player homes. More dusty, so to speak. Very entertaining stream. I hope you don't mind the long comment. I'm trying to decide if I should do an actual playthrough with a character utilizing Start Me Up, and have them get equipped regarding their backstory. Or not, as I would be doing 38 minute episodes, and even that may be more than anyone wants to watch. 😏 I'm thinking of mostly doing exploring and helping settlements. I personally like NV as it is... I know a lot of people want a remaster, but I think it would lose some of its charm. Course I think the same of Morrowind and FO3, lol.
I hope you don’t mind my advice. I just want you to have more fun playing the game and it does have a steep learning curve. A few things I remembered 1) the largest and free backpack has 110 carry weight not 100. 2) the butterflies are safe zones where you can sleep without fear of ambush 3) tents also fill up your health, stamina and mana bars like sleeping in your house. 😊
I LOVE Jury Rigging perk, too. One of my favorites. I try to max out Lockpock, Repair and (generally) Guns as quickly as possible. My other favorite perk is Animal Friend. Requires CHA of 6, and level 10. But with it many animals will not attack you. Like mad brahmin, molerats, some geckos, Legion Mongrels, and, most important, Nightstalkers. Those rattlesnake coyotes hunt in packs, and do physical and venom attacks. You die quickly and painfully. *Unless* you have Animal Friend. 😉 At rank 2 of AF animals will often come to your aid, but not against other animals. It is also helpful that Legion Mongrels won't attack you even if the Legion does. Reduces the number of attackers on you. And as there are 2-4 Legion Mongrels in Caesar's tent, plus 5 soldiers, if those 2-4 dogs wont attack you, that makes things a bit easier. A bit. Oh, yes, speaking of The Fort and Caesar, you cannot get there from any of the map locations you kept looking at on your Pip-Boy. The only way to Caesar's camp - before the second battle for Hoover Dam (end game) - is to go to Cottonwood Cove near the bottom right of your map. I doesn't look like youve explored there yet. But there is a raft in Cottonwood Cove with a Legion boatman that will take you to, and from, The Fort. You can't get there from the dam or Lake Mead. The mountain walls are too steep to climb. Oh em gee! Hey hey, Glantri. 👋 I spent the first half hour watching and lamenting that I missed your stream. Especially the beginning. I was certain that someone would have told you how to get Rose of Sharon Cassidy. lol You can either talk to Cass first. But you don't need to. You can just start at Crimson Caravans and ask McLafferty if she has work. She'll give you a couple of simple jobs first: Give Hildern an invoice, then come back to her, then she'll ask you to dismantle a bottlecap press. Then ask you to sneak into the Gun Runners and steal plans for her. You can choose to do that, or tell her you're not comfortable doing that. She'll accept the refusal and give you the quest to get Cass to sign over ownership of Cassidy Caravan over to Crimson Caravans. Or you can do the Gun Runners spy job, and then get Cass' quest. I really wish I caught your stream because I would have tried to assist (just something I tend to do on people's streams. I try to be helpful). I'm at the ~30 minute mark watching. So you probably got all of this figured out in your stream. But I needed to get this pent up "Hey! Here is what you can do to get Cass. 😁" By the way, very important information here: *DO NOT* do the special job in The Silver Rush casino in Freeside. They want you to bring Cass in to talk to them. You can do the door watching quest (in order to kill Pacer), and the delivery of a package out to the middle of nowhere. But after that (I believe) you will be asked to bring Cass in for them to talk to her. When she comes in Jean-Baptiste Cutting will walk up to her, say she's a pain in his ass and promptly execute a critical shot on her with his laser rifle, disintegrating her. The quest is called 'Birds of a Feather', and you can threaten Jean-Baptiste to not kill Cass, but then the Van Graffs, and everyone in the building becomes hostile to you. In vanilla, if you complete Cass' personal quest 'You Can Depend on Me' first, before doing anything for the Van Graffs, then you will be locked out from doing Van Graff quests (cuz they are mad at you), thus you won't get the quest to bring her in to be killed. ALSO, There is a bug with There Stands the Grass that can lock up Thomas Hildern's dialogue preventing the completion of You Can Depend on Me and ultimately preventing the recruitment of Rose of Sharon Cassidy as a companion. Therefore, it is highly recommended that one follows this quest as far as being sent by Alice McLafferty to buy out Cass prior to completing There Stands the Grass (Doing the Vault 22 quest). There is a mod for PC called 'Saving Cass' which will keep her alive and give you a dialog option to say you killed her. They'll be satisfied with that and not try to hunt her anymore. I hope you don't mind this info dump. Again, I'm at 29:55 at the moment and felt I should share what I could to help. DROP YOUR BACKPACK WHEN YOU GET IN A FIGHT! It severely slows your roll dodge! You can always find it by looking on the compass on the top of your screen. It shows up as a light brown square on it when you’re facing in the direction it’s located. Get a bigger backpack. You’ll be struggling with inventory a lot less and be able to carry more loot to sell. Explore the map. There’s stuff tucked in all sorts of places. Of course Chersonese is the easiest, then Enmerker Forest. Talk to the vendors. They have a simple quest to take something to another vendor in another zone and you get a nice reward. YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO CARRY YOUR PICKAXE AND HARPOON so you can fish for mana regen food and mine for gravel beetles for life potions. Make it easier for yourself to buy less of the basics so you can buy the skills, armor and weapons you want. 😊 LOCK ONTO YOUR TARGET WHEN YOU ATTACK! It makes it much more accurate! BUFF UP YOUR STATUSES before a fight! As a general rule for food buffs : Meat recipes give health recovery and you can stack bandages with them, Fruits and vegetables recipes give stamina recovery which stacks with water and fish recipes give mana recovery which stacks with mana water. Start a fight with all 3 statuses full and recovery effects going and you’ll be much better at surviving a fight. More on this later. TAKE LIFE POTIONS everywhere you go. You have an alchemy kit. It’s easy to make. 1 blood mushroom (found underground), 1 gravel beetle ( found mining iron) and 1 water. You can buy the ingredients from the alchemist if you don’t have them and it’s cheaper than buying the potion. KEEP THEM IN YOUR POCKET FOR EMERGENCY USE. They won’t do you any good if they’re in your backpack, which should be on the ground, and you’re dying. GET RID OF THE MACHETE. It’s one of the worst weapons in the game (14damage, 12impact, 3.5stamina, 1.2speed, 175durability). Get an iron mace from the blacksmith and make it a fang club (iron mace, 1 predator bones, 1 linen cloth). Fang club has 26damage, 28impact, 1.1speed, 4.6stamina with the bleeding effect and 275durability. It’s relatively cheap and easy to make and gives you good melee weapon for a mage. Also you can block better with it, which you don’t do at all. (Hint, hint)😊 So it’s a much better weapon with a small trade off of being a bit slower and using a bit more stamina. *****IMPACT is actually more important than health in this game. It’s the white bar below the red (health) bar. If you can knock your opponent off balance to the ground then they’re helpless while you’re going in for the kill!*****It’s the reason you’re given the kick skill at the beginning of the game. It knocks your opponent down but it takes practice to get good at it. Work towards buying a CAMOUFLAGE TENT(ambush chance greatly reduced, +5% stealth, -10% stamina cost of actions). It’s better than a simple tent (-5% stamina cost of actions). You’ll need one for those times you can’t sleep in your own bed. A bedroll gives you nothing.
You NEED all 4 runes from the Rune Sage and all the skills would work well for you as a mage. When there are 2 skills side by side you can only get one of them. Choose carefully.
