My hero and mentor. The reason I'm still working as a preforming musician after nearly 50 years of all the bullshit and heartbreaks. Thanks Ry; you The Best!
Been trying to find Pete’s version for sooo long... they tease a snippet of it with video from a television show in Dylan documentary No Direction Home
It's on the Pete Seeger tribute album called "Where Have All The Flowers Gone". It's available on Amazon or at your local record store. Really glad you liked it!

I've not seen anyone singing through a mega phone since "Winchester Cathedral" in the 60s!I'm no jazz fan, but when they came on a recent "Austin City Limits" program re-run, I was surprised to find that I enjoyed their performance. There is something so very authentic about this band with so many talented musicians.
That looks like Yim Yames from My Morning Jacket singing with the band on St. James. I never realized hearing some of the Preservation tracks with guest singers for St. James that it was Jim. Makes since with that voice! Awesome!
