I am so much like you, my space is little and my containers and varied, I have about 6 book cases, and three different colors and all that kind of thing…. I Only have sort things out and regroup. You are pretty awesome. Your space is awesome as well! The best to you finding a new home! Me to I am a messy crafter. And messy in most things. It is better now than it has been, we can make a difference in our lives. Sharing with others is Key. Why else do we have the ability to make cards. And rolls of stamps last a long time. Oh by the way I just subscribed to your Channel and I am glad I met you.. love your room! Toodles for now.
I love this room. So much inspiration. I have a small space as well and you have so many practical ideas for storage. I personally love the under desk storage and have done this as well. I use my desk just fine and It doesn't bother me. I live having mu stuff at arms reach. Thank you for sharing. Be blessed.
You do what works for you. I've been a scrapbooker for many years and I'll tell ya, I stand when I scrap. When I paint I'll sit but scrapping 12×12 and double spreads, I want to look down on it. I went to scrap parties and many chose to stand... You are using your space to achieve what works for you. No one should judge your space.
Love your tiny room. My chaos worst than yours ! It over whelms me. You've inspired me to sort mine out. Love the space under your desk. Thankyou for sharing.
Love this video! As someone who's workspace is the dining room table...which, yes, we also eat on, I can really relate to small space crafting and using whatever works. It's not pretty but functionality has to come first when you work in a small space. I have 5 Raskog carts that I have organized for different types of projects, i.e. cards/albums, Colouring mediums, Die cutting station, Acrylic paints/stains/varnishes and finally I have one for my Cricut heat presses and their accessories. LOVE them! I also have 2 taller sets of plastic drawers like you have under your desk. All of that is in my dining room. Luckily there is only myself and my husband so we only need access to two chairs as there is no walking around our table anymore lol. Thank you for this "real" video.
I also have a very small craft room…but it is my happy place as well. Thank you for sharing your storage ideas. I’m always looking for new and different suggestions.
I have just found your channel, so this is the first video I have seen. Your crafting space is perfect. I'm in the UK, and also only have a small space. Good luck to you with all that you do, I think tiu are doing a fabulous job, especially as you gave a full time job. So, I am just off to watch some more of your videos. Happy crafting! 😊
Love your craft space. I am downsizing (way down!) and it was good to hear you say “it’s OK to purge”. I have paper I haven’t used in 20 years and every time I look at it I love it. I’m purging other things easier. I guess I have to just bite the bullet.
New subscriber here.. I love your craft room. You have made it your own and that's awesome. Alot of craft rooms are just for looks, but yours is functioning, thats what it should be and that's what makes it great. You have utilized your space really well and created a system that works for you. Everyone has their own style and that's what makes them who they are, what works for you might not work for someone else and what works for someone else might not work for you, that's why we're called individuals. Maybe you can do a longer, more indepth video next time. Keep up the great work!
Your room is AWESOME! You have the best craft room tour video I’ve seen and I’ve been binging this past week as I create my craft room. Your room is real, not an IKEA commercial like I’ve been seeing. Also I’m jelly of your COPIC collection but I’ll get there😁
Kudos to you for using all your available space. I also utilize under the desk space which is very valuable real estate. Just ignore the criticizes-they don’t deserve any attention. Thanks for sharing.
Love your Space! I too have a butcher block that I purchased from IKEA about 20 years ago. I bought some legs and that’s been my craft space for years and years. Unfortunately I don’t have the space to craft inside my home other than my dining room table which for obvious reasons doesn’t work, so I’ve created a workspace outside in the garage where I can sew and craft to my heart’s content. I too have plastic drawers underneath my desk because that’s the space I have to work with and like you I love my space it’s wonderful and I call it my happy place. I do not have any fancy containers cubbies or otherwise for storage, I make do with things I have or repurpose things. It’s not about having a showcase room (not that I would love to have one) but my craft space is functional it’s mine and it’s my favorite place in the house. Thank you for posting your real space 😎
It’s your space and if it makes you happy that’s all that matters . I’m just about to start a little craft space it will be in my bedroom it will be only one wall and I am making a space for my great granddaughter she is 6 years old. It’s going to be small but that’s all in need . Loved your tour 🥰
Fun craft room! Totally agree you gotta make do with what you have and get rid of stuff you don’t use. Right now I’m renting a room from my sis & most of my crafty stuff is in storage. I had a ton more but donated a lot, threw the rest in boxes & shoved them in storage. The next few months I need go go through storage to weed out more stuff before I find a new place to live. Enjoy your happy place and TFS!
It was actually so refreshing to see a non-Ikea craft room. Much of what I have is old or from yard sales or repurposed as well. Also, I have storage under my desk too, so not sure why people would be negative about that! It works so well for me because everything is right there! Thanks for sharing your space with us!
You do what makes you happy. my room is smaller then yours and now you have me an idea so I can get my to get her this summer 16 years here and haven't fixed it up yet. I be here and there not where I should be. thanks for the video 🤠🤠
Just subscribed and want to say “I love your space”. I have way too much and it’s so cluttered, my goal is to go through it all and purge. I want to find someone who really needs and will use it all. Have a blessed day and totally enjoyed your honesty. 😊
Been card crafting for about 12 years and I recently did a major reorganization of my craft room which is in my bedroom! I think/hope it’s my last major reorganization. I use what I have and try to make it work so everything flows and works for me! Almost everything is now within reach from my chair! I also utilize the space under my desk! It’s prime real estate in small spaces! Great job!👏👏👏
Love you tiny room, I just have a corner in my family room but it works. I’ve been making cards for 30 years and haven’t grown tired of it yet. I use half of the guest room closet for stuff I don’t use as often.
Love the whole not perfectness of your craftroom.at the start of my own craft journey i was so blinded by all the perfectly done craftrooms but i was being more busy with getting my space perfect instead of enjoying the making.same goes with craft materials.after 8 years i am getting slowly past that point and this kind of craftroom make me reminded of that. A storage tip if you move. Ikea ivar not sure if ikea usa sells it🙂but they are amazing if you want to have lost of baskets with stamps because you can adjust the shelfs🙂and you can slowley buy piece by piece🙂
It’s a great tool. They let you make Matt’s for your image or layer looks like a ruler has a ledge you butt up against cardstock and cut with exacting knife.
