Oh my, I laughed so hard thru this video that I had tears running down my face. It was a really good video. I love all that you both are stitching. Gary, I stitch like you do. I have my very own frog so I am sorry to say I will not be taking yours. Some days it feels like all I do is frog or start over. Amy, half stitches are new to me. I have done them but only when called for. I have a couple of HAED charts but I have not started yet due to being overwhelmed. Doing half stitches would help me get thru them so thank you for that information. Also do you only do the half stitches on full coverage? You both are so entertaining. I always look forward to you videos and plan on laughing thru them all. Until next time, Happy Stitching and safe travels.
I didn't see the one stitch of Gary's start 🤣. I'm impressed with your perseverance. Lovely stitching progress. Cabin fever looks amazing. My daughter is a swifty too so I'm really tempted to stitch one of the designers patterns
A question to Gary. How do you keep your action figures? And I think Batman had his pink gloves on for Catwoman... my husband collects hot wheels, and we have many plastic containers of them.
Amy: I’m going to put the Taylor Swift pillow over here by Batman because… Me: He’s a Swiftie. Amy:…I don’t want to scramble my projects. Me: Oh. For about half a second it made perfect sense that Batman was a Taylor Swift fan and would guard the pillow.
Thank you Amy and Gary for the video and sharing your stitching with us. I love the frog holding the floss, but honestly you can keep him. Rose Trellis Inn , well , I shouted What!! when you said a couple of rows from the bottom, you then said rows of pages. I thought for a minute you were turbo charged and were on holiday. 😂 Gary, I have heard of better being safe etc but really ? how long is that trumpet 🎺? , is the rest of his band going on it too ?😂 . A stitchy meet sounds lovely let us know the dates and location. Don't worry about posting videos ,we know you will be very busy,we will be here when you are ready. I got Batman, yes ! happy dance. Hugs to Bear,Sophie and Summer and safe travels to both of you.
So nice to spend some time with you! I love to see what you are both working on. Gary, every stitch counts (pun intended) whether going in or being frogged out. I think the Swiftie pillow makes a nice compliment to Batman on your side table. Safe travels to you both and I look forward to hearing your news when you return.
Oh my word I laughed during this video. You two are so great together and you can just feel how much you make each other laugh! I just love it. Safe travels to both of you!
I really enjoy the variety of your projects. Gary, you are the inspiration! I don't think I have completed many projects without a mistake or three....
Can’t seem to connect via email. 🥲. Would you be able to contact me? I have my follow up appointment at Harborview for October. Would love to meet up if possible. If not, totally understand! You sound mighty busy! Thx.
Yes! I'm so sorry for being slow to respond! This video is going up rather late, and I actually have just returned from a very busy10 days in Rwanda (we filmed it before I left). I'm terribly behind on email, but I saw I got a couple messages from you. So very sorry! Trying to catch up in the next couple days, so keep an eye out.
Ah, thanks again for the kicks and giggles. Now that Louis has been predisasterized it should go smoothly. Anyway that's what I hope it will do. Your projects are all looking good. Safe travels and good luck with your stitching. ❤❤
Hi Amy - Hi Gary Love your WIPS -I love Trellis Inn - that is so pretty. Gary - I love Wonder Woman - she is turning out great. I always loved watching Wonder Woman - it was one of my favorite shows to watch. Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🧵🪡🧵❤️
I love the video, and may both of you have safe trips. Gary needs to take up Bobbin Lace because when you demonstrate, the only person who m will know if you are lacing of unlacing is one that works the lace. I so enjoy hearing the planning the next attempt for his patterns. We all do it or throw a lot of cloth away and restart quickly. I have a few to restart of finish for my daughter and one completed for her by my friend we had to throw away. It was Santa of the Forest, and my friend made such a mess of it there was only the one option, and then I did the whole thing over for her.
Your projects are all beautiful, I almost can't choose favorites. I hope things calm down soon at work, and that you get more time to rest on your beautiful deck and stitch!
I had a kit that I bought off ebay and I'm 85% certain it wasn't an official kit after I received it. The chart looked like a photocopy, the fabric was much too small, but the floss looked fine. Based on the number of fractionals, I was going to swap the fabric anyways, but I could imagine the people who didn't realize the fabric was wrong having a major panic attack. (This wasn't a half inch margin piece of fabric, this was a leave 1/4 of the chart off the fabric piece of fabric. And lesson 2 is do the math for chart size and add extra on for finishing...I've cut fabric much too close before...made it work, but oh boy I was scratching my head for how did I do that.
Thank you Amy and Gary for your video, no need to apologise for your delay in your update, life happens and goodness yet again look how late I am in viewing. I need to put a reminder in as RU-vid are not sending me notifications. As always stitching is looking good ,Gary glad you are going to frame Louis it would be a shame after all the work you put into it not to. Tell the 🐸 to hop off. The new version will be fantastic as you will not make the same errors, keep the faith, the force is with you. Amy so sorry work has been so heavy of late hopefully as you move into fall it will ease up for you. I have taught on line a little bit to help a colleague in the North of the UK and really enjoyed it. Shows that I do still miss it. I am trying goldwork at the moment. These threads and I fall out regularly. 😂 Take care and hugs to Bear, Sophie and Summer.
Hi. I've finally managed to catch up on all your videos. I love your stitching, and it amazes me how disciplined you are sticking to your categories of stitching. Love watching the two of you interact, and Gary always manages to make me laugh
Thank you for the humor today. Your videos are always fun and inspiring. Gary is hilarious and helps to make me feel better about my stitching, with all its imperfections !
Gary would you like to come for a visit and I will let you watch Sesame Street with my grandchildren, they love Count Dracula. Unfortunately we all make counting errors and just start projects over. I wonder if the chart program that you can mark your progress on your iPad as you stitch would help. You guys are so awesome together. Thank you for the laughter. ❤❤
Thank you for an enjoyable and interesting video. Love the stitching! When you say you are doing the full coverages in a mix of full cross and continental, is the dependent on mood or do you feel you get different effects between the two stitches?
OMG im imagining the amount of work required to sand and stain that deck! Would take me centuries! Been a while since ive caught up with you Amy. You and Gary as always bring a smile to my face. Your projects are looking fabulous! 💖💖
Glad to see your face round these parts! :) Hope you and Paul are well and enjoying your books and stitching and woodworking. Gary appreciates your sentiments on the deck. We have talked many times about setting the thing on fire. Haha!
Hi Amy and Gary. As a newbie cross-stitcher I feel Gary’s pain when I’ve noticed an issue with my project. I haven’t frogged anything as of yet, but I know it’s just a matter of time. I’ve got plenty experience in frogging my knitting projects 😂 Nice to see you both again ❤
Nice to "see" you, Heidi! If it's of any comfort, I've been stitching for 35 years, and I still have to frog sometimes. It's coming for you, but it just means you're one of us. :)
You guys are hilarious 😂. I love Gary’s attitude he’s so easy going and you both have such great chemistry. As always loved the video and the stitching.
Hello 👋🙂 from Prince of Wales Island Alaska! I just found and subscribed to y'all today 😊. You two are a lovely & hilarious couple, and I enjoyed seeing all of your projects. Happy Stitching 🫶🧵🪡!!
Omg! Our house is 970 sq ft! Oh you guys are such fun! How could anyone leave! Oh it’s beautiful looks great! I am almost at the last page of my full coverage but been monogamous since Feb 1st. An extra line, hmm I have a lot more than 1 extra line! 😂😂 oh you guys best ever videos, 😂❤see you next time!
Your videos just keep getting better and better! 😂😂😂 Gary is a great addition to the videos. That 3% helps the rest of us feel better about whatever percentage of imperfection we may have. And putting together those figurines is definitely also a challenging craft.
Oh my goodness, you two just have me in stitches...😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Don't worry Amy, most husbands don't listen, I know mine doesn't unless his name comes up in the conversation. 😂😂 Gary Gary Gary, you should be on stage with your comedic self.. Can't wait for next time to see the both of you..❤❤
