@@manuelramos4509 Bügelvlies in German. It is just a type of fleece fibre with a sticky side, that gets activated by the heat of the ironing. You get it in any sewing supply store in different strengths.
If you completely sew together each side of the hat and then sew them together right sides together around the edge of the brim leaving an open space to turn the hat, it would be so much easier on you. Then all you need to do is close the turning hole and sew the circle stitches on the brim and you're done!.
I just subscribed!, Im a fan of your blogs, there very thorough. I like the new Z4 Urban camo but its soo elusive, its very hard to find info on it. And some of the patterns like snow patterns theres almost nothing on it.
Great companion knife for the overbuilt M311 Spelter... thin slicey blade with convexed secondary grind and Nessmk Hump for skinning, also a Ferro-Rod Striking Section.
You wouldn't want to go " Prying " ANYTHING with this knife unless you want to snap the tip clean off! S45VN is a great steel but that tip will still snap off very easily.
For my outdoor use they are holding up good enough. Depends on what are you planning to do? I am not crawling through trenches or competing at matches etc.
I just picked one up a few weeks ago. Great knife. It's very similar to the Pacific he designed and is sold by CRK. More pointed with less of a belly and the handle is smooth. It's a little more expensive, but you can get one from an online dealer or walk into a brick and mortar store and buy one right now instead of ordering and getting it in five or six years. This is in S45VN, a tiny bit less tough with a little more edge retention than the S35V in the video. 7-July-2024 And they are now using Magnacut. Much more rust resistant, and a lot tougher. A bit less edge retention. A very well rounded steel. So course I bought a second one to have the new steel. I ordered the OD handle scales and was hoping for something more like the ones in your video, but they are a lot more muted, still one of the many shades of OD, but with a more tan/light brown tint.
Danke für die Vorstellung des Rucksacks. Ich habe den gleichen schon einige Jahre im Einsatz. Natürlich nicht in Phantomleaf WASP I (leider).
Could someone provide the dimensions of the velcro patch on the front? I'm looking to buy the bag, but I require that information. Thank you in advance.
