I had a stroke that affected the communication & memory portions of my brain. I couldn’t read, spell or speak. The brain is an amazing thing! It actually created new pathways, to bypass the damaged part of the brain, & relearns what was forgotten. I play time management games & upload them to RU-vid. Think of all the steps one’s brain has to go through for just the simple task of creating & uploading videos. I have to follow directions, record, & when uploading, I must organize, type & follow directions. So, in a nutshell, this is my therapy. Gamehouse Original Games have been excellent therapy for me. I chose Delicious Emily, & all her loved ones, because each newly released game delves deeper into a storyline that I can’t get enough of. Oh, & by the way, over the years I have gotten my speech, spelling and reading back- about 95%! I have continued to do my process, because, you know what they say? If you don’t use it, you lose it!
