I have the Predator 8750 inverter generator and it only lasted one use and stopped producing power after only one use. 30 day warraty was up and I lost $1,100. 😔
All you have to do is clean your carburetor. Take the bottom bell off and clean where the float is there’s a little pen that goes in and out with the float sometimes that will get stuck, especially if you ran it and then left fuel in it
Sorry to hear,it’s definitely hit and miss with these.I’ve had to replace the starter switch on mine but all else is well.Quality control is definitely an issue.
how did you manage to get it to not show double vision (ghosting)? When I use my tablet with torque in my Baja I get a second reflection staggered just behind it which makes it a little annoying to read. Did you do something to make it not ghost, it just worked from the beginning, or do you have a HUD compatable windshield?
Put a piece of 5% tint on the windshield... reduces the ghosting. I made mine in a 'trapezoid' shape, large side on top so the passenger gets the same good view
Do you have any lag in the virtual guages? I know the old Bluetooth OBD adapters do have lag and the tach or speedo of would take a fraction of a second to respond and show changes in speed. I currently have a WiFi adapter that has no lag at all, but I don't get cell service when I use it. Thanks!
+brenton smith The Elm327 will only work if you use it on an app that supports the ELM327 system. Also you have to check whether the adapter is compatible with android or IOS system, otherwise it won't show up on the cellphone's bluetooth or wi-fi settings! I hope this was of any use.
Can't get a ticket for this, other than a fix it for the tint on the windshield. Any good driver isn't looking at these gauges, but it helps when you're monitoring performance or speeding and don't have to look down at the dash... It's actually safer
The display lag is caused by my 16-bit ECU... It's the car's computer that's slow. I have tested the transmitter on newer vehicles and it's 100x faster
i would have thought daytime visibility would be acceptable if you have a dark enough section of tint... im more worried about display lag, it seems like your speed refreshes once an eon, maybe
Too much useless information (a.k.a. eye candy) that has you focusing more on the display than what you're about to run into. You might as well be texting and driving in a crowded school zone!
do you have a GPS module for installed on your ASUS transformer ? I would the same setup and use the mapping feature. Any experience with that function and your transformer ??
do i have to have the asus tablet to have a HUD display like yours, this is awesome but I don't quite understand how you are doing it, is it a feature of the tablet? or the app?
Im actually going to upgrade to the OBDLink MX Scan tool in a few days... The results are phenomenal regarding the speed and accuracy of the display. Makes this video look like child's play. I'll post another video for that!
I have the rough side of black velcro neatly covering the center panel on my dash. For the tablet, I got a cheap black cover that looks pretty damn nice and superglued the soft side of the velcro to its back. I can put the tablet anywhere and it will stay, no matter how rough I drive
