Well, lets say that it’s not used since that video was made😀 Pretty hard to use and it’s easier to manouvre the shock by hand to get the air to let go, and also stay away from pulling the absolute lowest vacuum on some shocks instead…
I am very impressed by the rapid reverse too! Could anypne possibly make a video about the functions and the operation of this head? I couldnt find one.
@@HP_rep_mek nevermind :) the narex VHU is an excellent choice :) I couldnt figure out how is the lenz reversed, but I now know that it needs a special torque handle that has a button in it for reverse. I am going to stick with my wholhaupter upa 3, I wanted a narex tho :D
Wow! Surface finish could use some work, but its only a Test after all. Regarding the Head itself, I'm really impressed with the Rapid-Reverse! I just got myself the LPA 2S (one size bigger), have yet to try it out, but this demo makes me really excited! Good short video.
The idea is that I will get back to this and redo the piston and seals so they are not letting air pass by, but with many other projects it’s still on the waitinglist😇
Hello my Friend. When you are cutting steel, which speed do you have on saw? Speed 1, the slowest? How many TPI You use on your saw blade? Thank for answer. Take care, bye bye :)
@@HP_rep_mek I am using 10/14TPI and i thing full speed for regular steel, profiles is little bit too much :) I would like to try it, but i would like not destroy the blade. How long last you a on e blade?
Erick Royer you can find it all on the author Garys page: www.liming.org/millindex/ Be aware that Stefan Gotteswinter will hopefully publish has version that has backlash compensation and other stuff soon. www.gtwr.de and hes also on RU-vid & instagram
Most shocks have a bleedport, or a port for a rebound adjuster (I have adepters for those). This is a shock absorber manufactured from acrylic tube by me to see how long it takes for the airbubbles to disappear). If you draw vacuum, the low pressure sucks the piston (or anything thats moving freely, aka the shaft is drawn into by vacuum also as you can see).
Correct me if I'm wrong but you're pulling the vacuum/oil from a place on the shock which wouldn't usually have a port? Also why does the floating piston move to the opposite end of the piggyback reservoir if you're pulling a vacuum, that one really confused me??
