I have an accessibility pass when i go because i use a walker and can't stand for very long. If i had to wait 75 minutes standing up (leaning on rails for sure...) i would still do it for Velocicoaster. And then i would sit down for an hour to watch Velocicoaster while recovering a bit 😅 I don't live there anymore, so my birthday present was a day at IOA with my partner, and they did NOT like it, but i did it 4 times, 3/4 in the back! It helped that I was riding alone, team members let me fill in an empty back row seat twice because it was my birthday trip and i looked like id been through a war to ride it 😂
I constantly have dreams where the Velocicoaster station looks different and I basically crawl up a ridiculous amount of stairs to get to it. Even in my dreams I am that dedicated to riding rollercoasters. Air time is near total pain relief, and I can't get enough.
So back in the day (for flight deck) Great America used to be ran by paramount and it was themed after Top Gun. There’s a ton in the park that that has hidden gems.
Funny how he kept calling the kings Island rides clones when they are the Og’s.. and saying kings island is a small park is weird when it’s the biggest amusement park in the mid west.
Just got home from a 2 week florida trip, it was amazing, but we did have some bad luck both hagrids and gwazi were closed the day we visited those parks, hagrids cuz of some tech issue (it ran in the morning but went down for the day at a bout 2) and gwazi was cuz of the hurricane I believe. But hey it was a great holiday non the less!
i live in the bay area and i remember when gold striker first opened they got complaints from the businesses around that it was too loud so they had to do some more work on it to make it quieter
The first half of Demon is weird because it used to have 2 airtime hills when it was turn of the century. Then I was converted to Demon and added the 2 loops so they had to add straight track. Btw the one at SFGAm has crazy air on the drip
