Thoughts on wrap sweaters. Almost every maker is not happy with the wrap. The struggles I am hearing; how to fasten the wrap. It is saggy, it is bulky, it adds thickness at the tummy area. The version you have shown solves most of these problems.
I made the Aviva Wrap by Jamie Creates and honestly love it! Very similar to the one shown and also doesn’t have any of the common issues you mentioned!! It’s another great option

If you want a simple and quick little accessory maybe try Tamara Jordan’s double knit headband! She has a tutorial on her channel! I’ve made a few and they work up SO fast and are perfect for leftover yarn scraps. And they look absolutely darling with a matching cardigan or sweater 💕💕
I adore your personality. You are so much fun to watch. I’ve watched another one of your videos and the only reason I didn’t subscribe (and still hesitate) is because your videos have waaaay too many ad breaks. I feel like I watch for a couple of minutes and just when I’m relaxing into your chat, I have to stop knitting to skip another ad. Maybe this is something you can look into and maybe cut back on? Oh weird! I believe the ads are set by RU-vid. The only thing I’ve ever done ad wise is turn monetization on, it never gave me the option to choose the amount of ads. I’ll look into it!
Thanks for a great video! Loved your commitment to fall patterns haha. My only comment is that I encourage you to give pronouncing names a try - especially as some of them were super easy and it's important to go that extra step. If we can easily pronounce complex traditionally western names then phonetically sounding out non-western names to at least give it a try is worth the extra effort to be respectful to the designers. Just a thought for next time :) But love your content and keep up the great stuff!

I just finished my braidy loops! Highly recommend! She includes diagrams which were super helpful to me because I've never knit a saddle shoulder before. Once you get the general gist it's not hard at all, I love how mine came out. I really want to make the cardigan version too but oh girl I don't want to do that much purling

I feel your comment about community so much! I’m in Europe so going to Flock isn’t in my budget, hence living through others via the videos 😂 thanks for sharing! I’ve tried out different community ways (discord groups, Reddit) but most people are in different timezones to me so still makes me feel pretty alone, kinda. Girlll u should drill your shelf to the wall IMMEDIATELY! We do that every time for our own safety. Just use any methods connecting shelf pieces with something steady (like a wall). Please stay safe❤
For flying with scissors, a tip I heard from The Dropped Stitch's channel is to put your dental floss in your carry on and use it to cut your yarn. I thought that was so smart!
Guess what? You are Not alone! Just yesterday I was thinking about how much money I’ll be saving this fall and winter. Because I do not need any coats,boots, hats, jeans, sweaters or purses. Nothing! But late last night guess what? I bought a purse online! So much for that lecture to myself. 🤷🏻♀️🤣

I agree on taking the nail clippers like someone else mentioned. Security can be a gamble otherwise. (I've had that I forgot I standard had some kids' scissors in my regular bag at a trip to the UK some years ago. I was fine on the trip there, it wasn't even mentioned. I was all like 'huh wait what? I had scissors in there???? Oh right, totally forgot about those!' on the trip back. Had to throw them out though. Which is understandable in a way, they had to enforce the rules, but those things were not stabby in any way whatsoever.) Anyway, I have also found that it can be hard to find knitting friends. Especially knitting friends that are not too far away. At least I don't need those to knit, but it sometimes seems nice😅

I went this year and really enjoyed it! I saw a post on Reddit/knitting asking for people to respond if they were going, so that’s another resource for making connections. For anyone else who feels weird going alone, know that there’s plenty of places to just sit and knit. It’s very easy to start a convo with other knitters who may also be there alone. Even if you don’t have a big budget for supplies, you can definitely enjoy the show by absorbing all the creative energy!
