I only use curtains if I don't want to see something out a window, like construction at a new building site. Then I use semi sheer and go up half to 3/4 high using a tension rod. I have venetian blinds (I know some people don't like those either but I do) in front of them and adjust according to the light. I think curtains are distracting otherwise. They collect odors and dust. I find curtains depressing and maximalist rather than open, airy and fresh.

We pay almost $7K per year in property taxes and live outside the city limits, 5 miles from town on a private road that we have to plow and maintain ourselves. Met a patient who’s spouse did some electrical work on his home. I always been a big fan from his beginning, but when my patient in rehab showed me her pictures of David and her son smiling together.
