Great video 👏 We just came off the Viking Lif; Bucharest to Amsterdam, August 20-Sept 13 (we added extra days in Amsterdam). Our first cruise ever and so happy we chose Viking. Excursions were great, albeit exhausting 😅 We had the cabin with a veranda and my hubby enjoyed sitting out there daily and taking numerous pics. The locks you go thru were fun in the beginning, but after a while, it was like, 'Oh, another 'go thru' the locks' (68 in total 😮) haha We are planning another Viking cruise for next year.
@@geewizcw8821 haha I could see how after going through that many locks the excitement would disappear… I think we only went through 8. We were very happy with Viking also! Booked Danube Waltz for early April and hoping to see some Easter markets 🤞
@@edegidijuskas4030 yes, definitely a high end cruise. A 7-day cruise is $140 USD per person and all the wait staff we had were amazing! We loved the small size of the ship.
My wife and I took this same cruise in June of this year. We had the same guide in Speyer as you guys did. We loved this trip and will most likely do another Viking cruise next year. Great video.
@@PortsladeBySea evening entertainment is not a priority for us. There was a piano player most evenings, a string quartet one evening, a couple of locals playing top 10 and oldies one night and games with the cruise director one evening. Most evenings were spent with other guests in the lounge talking and getting to know one another. We weren’t really interested in evening entertainment when we booked but, more interested in ports of call and exploring.
