@@zetshu_yr7359 personally, after like 1k hours worth of playing, I find my nagakiba hard to abandon for the new stuff. The new weapons sound flashy and cool, but as a player and a casual pvper, I want something practical and not overly powered. Something that requires patience and skill to seize the opportunity and deal decent damage.

In my opinion this has to be the best shield, i dont know bout others. Im pretty new to this game :)

@@itmejac6945 It has the fastest parry startup frames... until you get Carian or Golden parry, which has the same startup, one extra active frame, and one frame faster recovery, which overall means the exact same animation commitment. On top of that, every shield has the same frame data with those equipped, which means you can get an enhanced buckler parry on something like the brass shield(the best medium shield in terms of pure stats) or the turtle shield (faster stamina regen). Additionally, Golden Parry has that huge parry range while Carian doesn't even consume the listed FP cost unless you actually parry a spell with it, which means a Buckler with Carian is a straight upgrade to Buckler with Buckler Parry. Sadly this means Buckler Parry is completely useless outside "I like the animation more", hence why "it's good before you get carian retaliation or golden parry ashes of war".

@@RPNeo honestly I thought it stated quicker than carian and golden but had less frames than them. If it starts at the same time it really is a pure upgrade
