So I’ve had to slow down on the racing videos because my career took off and for that I am truly grateful. I just started working on my grandfathers 1987 GMC Caballero. If you’re interested in following that story then sit down, take your shoes off and stay for a while. 🤷🏾♂️
I love the car and the sentimental value of it. The fact that you want to build a car that was your grandfather’s is totally awesome man. I will be following along.
You know I’ve been to, raced in, and watched videos of dozens of cash days events all across the US, and I have never seen any of the big diesel HD/Super Duty work truck type rigs that enter win a single race lol. I kinda feel bad for the guys but at the same time keep wondering why they bother to put money up to enter. Basically the only way they would win is by driver error on the part of their opponent. Luck essentially. And even still they would have to carry that luck through the rounds, and into then through the finals. I just don’t really get it but then at the same time I do, if that’s what you have to run then fuck it, your still racing at the end of the day and that’s what matters for real. I just see it as the wrong tool for the job; your looking for a T25 Torx but you grabbed an 8# sledge lol.

would somebody PLEASE make videos of real street cars racing on actual street tires!!! ok, some of these cars were on street tires. but they were mostly stock mustangs. and when I say "racing on street tires" I don't mean stock tires. but something like mickey Thompson, or other wide street tires. I'd like to see a class similar to the F.A.S.T. class. except no restrictions on tire width. full interior, stock appearing outside of the engines/trans.(do whatever you want with the internals) and no nitrous, or forced induction. unless it came from the factory with a super charger for example(few cars ever came stock with a S/C)
