That's not bad, the ancient old RAF Lightening could only manage a couple of hundred miles an hour more in a climb. I suppose a 1960s Brit aircraft breaking the sound barrier vertically is old hat these days. Why does the F35 take off with its toilet lid up ? Oh sorry, bathroom lid up ?
