I am already using meshmixer for making crown and bridge, cast partial dentures. Since last one year. I am already making crown bottom, cement gap, as per exocad steps, with same accuracy of margins, occlusal contacts, proximal contacts and so on. I have developed in my own way as exocad does, but in meshmixer. All is manually done step by step with great accuracy. And finally make it solid with better accuracy than exocad. I do not own exocad, but I am using it in one of my friend's lab since last one year. So I know all the steps od exocad design and same I am doing it in meshmixer. Meshmixer has great tools. It seems that exocad is using all the tools of meshmixer and automated it Like you are trying to do. I appreciate your hard work. Keep it up. Wishing you good luck and great success.
