I'm Guzzle, a variety gamer & a huge craft beer enthusiast! I love roguelites, deckbuilders, bullet heaven / horde survival, and Metroidvania games.
I post (nearly) daily videos of games that I really enjoy or demos of upcoming games that I think are worth a look. Whether it's a current roguelite, Metroidvania, survival, or strategy game or an old game from my backlog, you can expect some laid back gameplay and some jokes sprinkled in. My goal is for you to have a relaxing time and laugh with me.
Grab a cold one, sit back in a relaxing chair, and join in on the drinking and gaming sessions! Cheers!
Note to Developers: I try to respond to each email but if I miss yours please be persistent and remind me! At the moment I am only covering games from the genres listed above. Thanks for reaching out!
I love going Kona with my co workers we always stay right in town it’s a nice get away from Honolulu It’s great my bosses family flies in from Hilo and Maui an we just cruise party a fish !!!!
the guitarist on the far left is also playing with the armed (most fun i've ever had at a live show) and in lazer/wulf. check em out if you aren't familiar.
Hey Guzzle "N Frag, just wanted to give you a heads up that I sent you an email about two weeks back. It had a key to the prerelease for my game- I suspect it might have gone to junk, so I just wanted to follow up here.
I almost cried when you didn't order your positive and negative modifiers. Hope you enjoy the game the original game was awesome can't wait for the full release of this.
I'm the developer of Adarin Farm and I would like to thank you for having covered my game. I really enjoyed watching your playthrough, you adapted really well your strategy based on each difficulty you faced and I loved it! Thanks again!
Love your videos, you have the radio voice and enthusiasm to rock this game play ! I am learning to play faster and make smarter decisions :). I guess you like these kind of games, too.
Hey thanks for the nice comment, I don't get a lot of feedback postive or negative so this really helps. I played a lot of Civ 4-6 over the years so I do feel right at home with this game. Looking forward to more updates down the road!
Looks like a very meaty game, haha. I will keep an eye on it, seems like the devs want to get it on Steam eventually. I hope they will release a demo too. Cheers
Awesome playthrough, thanks for checking out the update! 🏛🔆 I just posted this in the Rogue Hex discord as well. PS - thumbnail looking on point as usual 😄💅
Hey, man. I know you reached the hour, but come on, you can't just stop in the middle of this dungeon, can you? This clearly deserves at least another video!
13:11 The distortion of space due to a large mass is well represented there. A very cool detail. I'd heard of neither this game nor your channel 15 minutes ago but they both seem pretty good. Looking forward to seeing what you feature next.
I mean it's a roguelike deckbuilder. It does have a few interesting innovations though and I like the overall vibes. Could be fun if the classes are well designed
Hey, Wild City dev here! Hope you had fun playing the game. It's awesome to see someone play it, I enjoyed every bit of this video. Thanks so much for sharing your experience! It's super insightful for us.
Hey Guzzle 'N Frag! Sorry to post here - I don't want to be spammy here on your Emberward video comments. I was wondering if there's potentially a good way to contact you (potentially e-mail?) about something related to tower defense stuff. No worries if not (feel free to delete this if you're not cool with asking this sort of thing here!)
Yeah rogue lite is the square and rogue like is the rectangle from what I understand. Roguelikes are a more concise classification while roguelites encompasses all run reset type games
In the grand scheme of things the terms have become interchangeable. My view is that "roguelike" is a game like Dungeons of Dredmor. A "roguelite" is a game like Slay the Spire. If you compare the two games, Dredmor is a top-down turn-based dungeon crawler with permadeath like the original game Rogue. I am likely in the minority on this view but to me it makes more sense to classify them this way.
I think you’re doing an awesome job! One note as constructive criticism would be to play the game a few times before you start so there’s less confusion and dwell time. Otherwise I would binge every one of your videos! Great voice, man!
