Really very honest and passionate explanation of your business🙏 I am on the look out for a 997.2 911 or 981/718 Cayman S, if you have any good ones do please let me know:) thanks
I really like this Porsche 911 997.1 Carrera 4S. This is a really good and professional review as well, and I'm sure you no longer have this car but I wonder why this car would need an engine rebuild before reaching 51,000 miles. kinda scary
Emm tank lift kit to hi bike looks great it’s but little off still 883.. if your going out 8,000 pounds into bike that kind of money in the bike 1275 kit bigger cams smaller back sprocket Harley dealership must of did this ..8000 pounds Not a lot done now I personally put $8,000 I’d Break motor down put big bore kit Hammer performance S&S bigger cams start Maybe even water cooled used parts restoring parts and Also finding wrecked bike and save whole rack of money My rebuild was during Covid parts deliveries Not happening I wanted to change my bike xl frame 1275 Cubic displacement Change both sprockets smaller back little bigger in front.. Top and bottom end Bike ride better than it looks I’d custom Intake outtake making bring in more air and Taking out more exhaust .. Change over to small water cool possibly Kick start to make both electric and kick start with change dynamics of the motor top in and bottom bigger cams 1275 cc add 1340 and up on xl frame not much could touch it $2500 doing thing myself Note lift kit on tank is to high bike looks great looks cockeyed Like add on room to your house and it isn’t square. Beautiful bike
Yes I’ve got one 2017 had 6800miles on it one owner. Even had original tyres on..bought in January & put another 2000 miles already been faultless paid £86k for mine…just make sure you get an inspection 👍…brilliant driving cars much better than a 911 992 Carrera s i had.
I’ve driven both them cars the 987 15 years ago…I was more impressed with the 987 boxter than the 991. 987 had more feedback and I remember thinking I didn’t want to return it.
@@InvictusMotors Keep up the great work usually someone that’s around Porsche’s all day starts to see them as just a car. It’s an important day in one’s life when you get your first Porsche your excitement around them is clear on camera. Great work.
Can you please do a video on the C4S you have for sale as I am interested.I had it on my ebay watch list but time ran out by the time I had finished work,Love you videos.
This is my favourite video featuring a Marlin, I built one in the '80's and have owned a further three since and will probably own one more once my MK 4 Escort is sold on.
@@InvictusMotors The old Triumph open top cars are popular. I'm looking at the TR6 at the moment which are a blast to drive and same engine type as in the Marlin in the video.
Great video it’s nice to know they can do that type of millage a lot of people buy them and don’t drive them because they don’t want to put the mileage on it cars have to be used to keep them going. The car in your video looks very clean you would never have guessed it has that mileage on the clock keep the videos coming I might come and buy one from you one day 😂😂👍🏽🤜🏽🥂
This poor guy is so hungry he swallows all his words , someone please send him to voice elocution lessons , I'm out after 35 seconds his narration is so bad
Love it! Do you have some documentation of this build? Noticed the upside down forks, almost looks taller than stock but maybe that's just the chonky tires?
6k miles and already had starter motor, alternator, £8k of gearbox work plus whatever else.. doesn’t sound to good this one.. think I would put my cash in a different McLaren..
Value for money for sure (for £58 k). But that specific car don't have the 918 buckets and full leather interior. Not limited number, but the manufacturing lasted only from March 2015 to July 2016, so they made some 6 000 of these (of course only a few hundreds of those ended up coming to UK). With that a quite rare car anyway. Much better car than the 982 GT4 (the sound, weight, steering, torque at lower rpm). Thanks for the great review!
😂Enjoyable and entertaining look around the 991.1 4 / 4S - I used to have a 996 Turbo, sold it for a classic Aston Martin but now I've got a hankering for another 911 - it's got to be a 991.1 4S in blue for me.....
The Cayman pivots whereas the 911 turns. The feeling at the wheel is quite different. They are both great Porsches. The obvious advantage the Cayman has over the 911 (apart from it being more affordable), is its more compact dimensions, making it even more fun to drive on twisties. I have been lucky enough to experience both. Presently I drive a 992 4GTS. The 911 appeal remains the strongest because it has become THE Porsche for the past 61 years 😎
Thanks you for sharing your perspective, it’s useful to hear your experience with both. How are you finding the 992 4 GTS. We have been wanting a 992 GTS for some while and it’s just a matter of time.
@@InvictusMotors The 992 4GTS is very rewarding car to drive. It does everything with ease and if you put the pedal to the metal it goes like stink. Very useful for overtaking lorries on backroads, for example. And it handles very well too. The speed you can achieve on twisties and open curves is impressive and will get a non-used-to 911 passenger clutching the armrest. In daily situations, I would say the abundance of disposable torque is the most useful feature. Mine has the PDK box. I suspect the manual 7 speed box is more fun and engaging. The driving assist elements are a bit invasive for my liking, but you can deactivate some and I suppose you get used to the others. They don’t actually spoil the driving pleasure, but you do feel that legislations aim at simple minded drivers and the people responsible for the decisions consider you as one ! Most annoying 😅 My main criticism, as a driver, concern the global dimensions of the 992. The car is too big (even if quite manageable). The 997 was the right (maximum) size. And this is precisely the 718 Cayman and Boxster strong point : they are the right size !
He said he’s an “analyst.” And I believe it…..he puts on the parking brake at stop lights !!? I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up with a Cayman…..I don’t think he has it quite figured out. Actually, if it’s true that people are like their cars, this lad needs a VW Beetle.
John is 62 years old and over the years if we are careful with the money, it’s easily do-able. Circumstances for everyone differs and a bit of luck goes a long way. The parking brake at stop lights made me chuckle, with the electronic handbrake, he definitely has figured that out. He might have already owners a VW Beetle in the past 😉
Thank you, you will not regret it especially if you have the means to do it. I see from your user ID that you are in Cotswold, some beautiful road there ☺️👍
@@krishthakar6661 agreed it takes a long time, with a bit of luck anything is possible. We never imagined that one day we will have circa 30 Porsche’s in our stock, consistent hard work and having simple goals to work towards goes a long way
Haha best comment here so far, I actually feared the same. He is still besotted by a Cayman. I am planning to do another video similar to this in a month time so will find out more 😂
