played Moria at my store treasure cup yesterday, BY Luffy was my only loss. guy saw all 4 of his Sabos early so i never had a turn where i could remove things from board, felt so bad
hmm, idk i think his next swing came so fast we didn't process the game correctly. dont think either of us realized i hadnt countered the 6k (i wouldve tho) didn't matter in the end thankfully.

My list was at 2 IA preemptively for the ban list in effect (this event was still no banlist) bc people already practicing Reiju. You HAVE to hard Mulligan for Ice Age. If you can pop Ichiji immediately, there's a chance. Just go wide and get back hand advantage with hogback/perona, absalom kill something with hina/ice age if possible and just go face. this match i should've lost 100% but my buddy dustin got too honed in on going face, and it was too late to pivot to my board. he only got 1 thing off and somehow 9-7-9-9 went through despite him having a thick hand
@@DragoATX thanks for the detailed response, definitely will test with ice age. the games i actually win against Reiju pretty much go exactly how this game went for you, super close and coming down to them missing like 1k more counter lol
@@dillonschneider9064 yeah, in 06 it wasn't as bad bc porche didn't exist, chopper to get back don for judge wasnt in, we ran 4 ice age, and we still ran lucci to remove 2 things at once which also matter a lot, meant getting to moria was a lottt easier. If they dont ichiji you first 2 turns generally speaking we win but they can very consistently find at least 1

I think we lose 60-40 or worse bc of stage. key to the MU is finding Jinbes. if they have one off turn and cant pop ur stuff after a jinbe, you usually can presure them really hard and get ready to win soon after

It only matches my leader, so it wasn't as big as a threat as a bon clay could be. If he wants to swing with it, that just helps my starve gameplan bc it and another character are going to be rested now thanks to leader ability
i know it might be a weird question but just asking if you know of anywhere like a discord server or something to play one piece over webcam for fun, no tourny stuff just for fun, cause my friend i play with is losing interest in the game because our match history is like 153 - 7 with me winning almost every game, he also cheats and thinks i dont notice yet i still win
