Thank you for sharing your experience. I am starting down the same path and am feeling a bit overwhelmed. Your content really helps to put it in perspective for me.
It’s honestly pretty disheartening to see AI generated coloring books like this. I get that the customers (kids) won’t know the difference, but heaven forbid the solution be to just draw your own coloring pages?
I understand there's a lot of controversy about AI but not everyone can draw which means they're left using someone else's images that they purchase anyway. Most selling platforms require you to disclose if it's AI generated now. So buyers should know what they're purchasing.
What a generous and lovely soul you are! Thank you for sharing your experience and suggestions-your process of how you arrived at printables was sooo helpful!❤
Thank you for this informative video. I will definitely make some of these digital products. I have a shop on Etsy and I am just getting into selling digital products. Thank you for your inspiration. Take care. New sub.
Hey! I just found you yesterday and I've been watching all of your videos 🥰 can you make a video on how you market/promote? Especially for website shops rather than Etsy. Thanks!
I don't know if you can thicken the outlines in Canva. I'm not aware of any way to do that. But you could draw in Procreate or a similar program and upload to Canva from there.
Good afternoon, I would like to ask you if is possible to use this protector for protect my 3D models in blender. If I provide to one user my work then will be not possible to use for different user. Thank you
@@businessenglish2178 you'll have direct access to me by email. I'll answer any questions that way for the founding members. If it's something that needs further explanation, I'll record a video explaining it for you or add it to the module.
Love your videos! Just found your page! Now I’m going to go watch more. I never knew how to do that so well with how you did the puppy. I have been doing the harder way, thanks!!!
That is true, but this video is meant for people who aren't making huge amounts of sales and/or can't afford to pay for the upfront manufacturering and shipping fees.
@passivelyeverafter Thank you for this video! Question: After flattening a PDF ebook, the chapter links from the TOC are lost, so is there a way to re-insert the links after flattening the book? TIA!
I usually don't flatten if it's something with links BUT if you want to you could leave out the words that will have links but leave space for them, flatten it and download, then upload it back into Canva and add the words with the links. That way the whole thing is flattened except for the hyperlinked words that you added after. Hopefully that makes sense.
@@passivelyeverafter It does--thank you! It's akin to exerting a video from iMovie to the desktop, then importing it into the project to enhance sound, visuals, or whatever. You've given me ideas--thank you again!
People who buy the digital work and simply resell are the worst kind MFrs. when I see people reselling my designs I put them so so so cheap that the other store can't sell any, and I make up the difference in volume. It works. I got less and less people copying my stuff that are repeats... you know, they are kind of a fan club, they watch and follow you if they like your designs. So they know they won't make more than couple sales before I drop my prices. lol. I really did the math and comparatively, I ended up making the same profit or sometimes even more with a super cheap design just because people can't pass a sale. For things that are regular price, I put on the description that item has a surprise bun us, it could be a coupon for the next purchase, or a free design, or whatever I think it would make people buy my design from me and not from the "competition" who stole my own designs. When I was all mad, and all I could think was people stealing my hard work and creativity, I sort of became obsessed and couldn't even create anymore. I have a bunch of new creations ready to go all the time. I always take notes when the idea comes. I always have my iPad or a pencil and paper to sketch (I have sketch books everywhere, on the night stand, on the side table by the sofa, on the side table by the plants where I like to read, even the two bathrooms I use have sketchbooks. And yes, I wake up in the middle of the night to take notes or to sketch. In the end, I found out that I am losing nothing really, and it forced me to be more creative. But I know how paralyzing and aggravating it is to see your designs being exploited, been there with the anger, and as I said, it paralyzed me until I was like "you know what? I will just going to make it anyways because I like it, and if someone steals the design, I can kiss it good buy, but so the MFrs who stole it.

Thank you for this video. When it comes to Printify and customers orders, who owns the rights to the customer information? I tried to read the terms of service but wasn't sure if this was covered.
I contacted Printify regarding this because I wanted to make sure I gave you the correct info. Here's the response I got: For your Pop-Up Shop, you are allowed to add customers to your email list for future sales, as long as you comply with privacy laws and obtain proper consent from the customers. When adding customers to your email list, ensure you are compliant with privacy laws like the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) in the EU, CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act) in the US, and other local regulations. This typically involves: • Gaining explicit consent from customers to receive marketing emails. • Providing a clear option to opt out or unsubscribe from future emails.
I have a course coming out soon. You can get on the waitlist at www.passivelyeverafter.com I'll teach you how to make the printables as well as how to set up your shop, market your products, everything you need to know. There will be a huge discount for the first 15 who sign up.
