You're not scraping correctly though. You are wiping your scraper across the plate which is why your polish is smeared after you scrape. You should only be using the edge of your scraper as you swipe the plate. Your image will not be smeared and you won't have so many mistakes.
Thank you for this great tutorial and tips. I'm new to stamping and still trying to figure it out. I will be trying your tips for sure... and I'll be back for more ideas!
I just bought the stamping polish from Jelly Belly and the stamper as well. When I tried a design to stamp, it seems like the polish dries way too quickly and dries in the stamping plate, so none of the image is picked up on the stamper. I am new to stamping and cannot get it to work for me. Any help you could give me, would be greatly appreciated.
You are an awesome educator! I’ve been doing nails for 31 years. I think you should go into nail career educating. If that is something that you would like to do and can do. You would be a great help to so many beginners and even people doing it as long as me. We can always learn. We never know everything. Someone’s way or ideas definitely can give other people ideas and new knowledge. It’s like one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.
could you please explain why you soaked off the nails, instead of just filing off the design, doing a fill and applying a new design? It just seemed like the nails still looked like they were in good shape.
I love it. I had a 6pm client no show on me tonight but I’m in a shop. I have a lost in my phone that I won’t flat out service. I will definitely be implementing these rules on my policy page
