Had music, whether a DJ or live band, playing on each day at the main pool when i was there. You said there were no shows about 30 seconds after showing a show in the theatre and a guy playing music. So its disingenuous to say that there is no shows or entertainment
I would never go here again or recommend. They need to seriously update EVERYTHING!!!!! The buffet food was a 3 out of 10. Room was a 4 out o 10. The beach was 8 out of 10 but you better get a seat early in the morning. The best restaurant was the Japanese restaurant. I was particularly tired of the folks trying to get me to upgrade or do the 90 minute tour. I felt harassed. They need to stop that because it took away my peace of mind. Listen to me and don't stay here. You will wish you listened to me. Oh yeah...and the drinks are not very good. guess it's a way to get you to do VIP.
Great video you guys. Please tell me this. I have knee issues and going up and down stairs is a problem wirh me. Does this resort have facilities in place (elevators, ramps, golf carts etc) to help me get everywhere I might want to go? (ie: from room to restaurants, beach, pool etc..) Thanks so much, Steve S
I have stayed in well better resorts tbh.. normal price for dreams when I went was around $600 and I paid with my discount around $350 so I have stayed at way better resorts for 350 tbh and I have been to my fair share of resorts in Cancun but the beach was nice
@matamoify for me a round trip southwest non-stop and shuttle bus from the airport with all the foods and drinks and 4 restaurants plus balcony beach fron views for 200 dollars per day for per person in July is the best deal for My family. Don't forget a free trip all day at Xelha included!😆
ok so I have a question we have been to Haven and Excellence they were amazing but I want something different to try I want some party , we always do swim up suites so after having a swim up suite there is no subsititute IMO, my question is how many resturants are on adult side and how many are on kid side We are trying to decide from TRS, Eldorado,and Margaritaville but the margaritaville is lacking in nightly entertainment but it has a lazy river lol.
Hello! Well, i saw this video and I would like to say something. About the construction area, it’s nothing about it, probably it’s noisy, but they try to make your best experience. This hotel is changing, they are renovating. Their location is nice, but, you should try again this hotel, it’s better, and they have a lots of things to do there!
So yeah they advertise it like that… however it’s only the adults part of a bigger complex that is family friendly and the better restaurants and bars (including the only sports bar in the premises) are on the kid’s side, the whole complex is called Paladium if you want to check it out… it had its pros as you can access more pools and stuff but definitely a lot of kids roaming around on the other side
So I've been asking around here on RU-vid about Costa Mujeres. I have seen a few videos and forum posts and people will say that the resorts are very secluded. Any thoughts? Did you find it was like a desert?
Not really.. I mean you are 15-20 mins away from city of Cancun but truly if you have a nice resort no reason to leave you will be more than entertained.. if not, you can rent a car and it’s not that far it’s just a dirt somewhat desolated road but it is safe so you can hire a taxi or drive in your own and be in the city in 20 mins
Thank you for the comments you are right.. tbh I didn’t put too much effort in this one just wanted to make sure no one had to go through what I did so I made it quickly.. btw check the SLS we later moved to that one and it was amazing!!! Excelent service and great rooms
I watched the whole video and I'm glad I did. We'll be visiting Buenos Aires and staying at the Hilton in April. After watching your video I'm starting to think I made a mistake booking with them. If I may leave a piece of advice/request? Maybe next time you can move the camera around a little slower. Actually much slower. Because our eyes can't focus that fast. If you watch the video you will see what I mean. When you were showing the bathroom it was way too fast.... motion sickness fast. :)
Well, for me TRS is way more better than Majestic, I stayed in both, I guess depend of what are you looking for, I preffer more quiet ambiance, great video!
Glad I came across this video! Definitely looking for a place without kids running around. When they include adults only, it really should be adults only. Looks like I'm crossing this one off the list.
It really depends on what you are looking for.. if you are looking for a fun party resort Breathless is amazing and the food is quite good, but the beach isn’t very nice… service I loved Majestic elegance, food was ok but if you get their elegance club pack you will be treated like royalty and the rooms are just beautiful… the best one ever is Xcaret (Mexico, Arte or Casa de la playa) but quite expensive but food is awesome, great vibe, great rooms and access to all parks included.. or if you are on a lower budget and want to do not all inclusive the westin lagunamar is quite nice and I lovee the beach there ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VZ2Ec3qmMxo.html

Well I did know they were from the same group.. unfortunately nowhere in the website it says that the amenities they sell like all the restaurants etc are on the kids side

Here checking reviews before going. Sounds like you wanted a party hotel and trashed this place because they didn't have club music on 24/7. I'm trilled that is not the case and look forward to a relaxing time.
I didn’t trash it for it…. I just said it wasn’t my vibe and I did trash the food was expecting way more plus things like the pool bar always smelled like bathroom and the fire alarm kept going off at 3 am….but yes if you are looking to relax this is the place you’ll enjoy it as service was actually quite good! It just wasn’t our vibe 🤷♀️ i would just recommend to eat more in the Palladium side.. hope you enjoy your stay!!
@@matamoify After visiting, I can confirm the pool bar smells awful due to the placement of what I can assume are the garbage cans. We did see a DJ nearly each day at the pool bar but it was very meh.

Si están 24 horas abiertas.... las habitaciones son lo mismo lo único que cambia es el piso y que las ejecutivas tienen un poco mas de amenities en shampoo y eso

Hello been eyeing this hotel for an upcoming trip . So happy I ran across your video . Was the hotel really small or overcrowded. Debating bw this hotel and The Fives Downtown Hotel and Residences Curio
The pool can get overcrowded some days.. but the service is excellent and the rooms great. I had a bad experience at the fives because of service and the reef has a better location close to everything and just a block from the beach
Was the hydrotherapy pool heated? I really want to check it out, but I'm in my second trimester, and I'm not sure it's safe if it's hot. Thanks for the video!
