It wasn't bad but it got my heart going. I wouldn't be surprised if she was 😊. She always wanted me to run extra for her, I can't do that if I slip and fall lol.
I had to think about it for a second but I think you're right in the dopamine aspect, on all accounts. There is good and bad in all things, they all require moderation.
My Daughter and I are watching the biopic on Arnold Schwarzenegger right now. I think he honestly exhibits some avoidance behaviors and likely has acute dopamine drives which often push people to great heights but can leave them feeling inadequate and dissatisfied, hence the need to continually prove themselves and tackle new goals, which he readily admits. There's a lot of torture behind greatness, but in all, it can't be denied that he's triumphed continually. We just need to be mindful to still nurture the self in all external pursuits. Best wishes.
