Due Process, a production of Rutgers School of Law--Newark and the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, is a critically acclaimed weekly series on law and justice issues, now in its 18th season with the same cutting edge coverage that has marked its long tenure.
The bottom line for every Due Process episode: Have we aired all sides of an issue? Have we made a real contribution to public education and the public interest - and have we explored cutting edge topics of law and social justice in a balanced, responsible way?
In fact, it is just our commitment to good journalism and basic fairness that has won Due Process scores of awards and honors, including 21 New York and Mid-Atlantic Emmys, and more than 80 Emmy nominations.
No one is letting victim know it’s confidential. Victims should know. If ur sex offender like my daughters got Megan’s law for life and supervision for life in court. How are they allowed to first take I away then 2nd not let victims know I’m all of the USA. Disgusting something will be done I promise
How exactly do you PROVE that families have kept their kids away from these monsters due to the list and therefore it is considered unverified RECIDIVISM. YOU CAN"T PROVE THAT NOTHING HAPPENED! You are beating this thing down when you need to create more treatment for these extremely sick people.
Every cycle has a starting point . That’s where the the intervention should start . But it is very difficult to stop a cycle in progress . But the starting point needs to be looked at for any crime !
You guys have problems . Whew ! My right to due process was suspended with all my other rights in 1996 . So I understand your problem . The real problem now is getting those knott heads in Washington DC to respond by re instateing that constitutional right . It seems our illustrious leaders forgot who we are and have started obeying the communist party line in china . The thing is though , that that snake is going to comeback to bite them .
There is a certain eagerness in government officers of all sorts to air on the side of extreme caution. Is it for money? Job security? Bad training? Bias? This leads also to so many false claims be risen to truth and gross exaggerations. Pleas are always enticing because America has the most draconian sentences and we do not train our young people about the boundaries of the courts. Often times a court experience may be the first real challenge in someones life. The government is taking advantage of individual citizens and needs to be stopped AT ALL COSTS.
I was denied due process by prosecutor Stephen foot and police officer sheriffs officer Tracy Flint Williams also denied me due process and privacy 10-22-2018 privacy no more
The judicial systems a fraud that's running on Admiralty maritime. There is no criminal system, it's actually a contractual agreement in a civil court practicing in equity. They've been lying to us for years and it's set up to just be a money generating machine. They don't care about who's innocent or who's not, they just push everything forward into a plea and catching another bond is sent up the line.
Jessie's Law is much more practical cause it sets mandatory sentences for repeat sex offenders. Jessie's law would have required him to serve a 10 year sentence on his second offense
