Bali is an awful product. Spent so much money on a replacement remote and it is IMPOSSIBLE TO reprogram. I need to now throw these in the garbage and by all new shades for my home!!!!
Bali is a JUNK USELESS PRODUCT!!! Cheaply built remotes easily break when dropped. New remotes are IMPOSSIBLE to program. Expensive overpriced GARBAGE!!!!
Bali is horrible!!! I have had MANY motorized shades and these suck! The gateway isn’t even what they gave me instructions for! The instructions show a USB gateway I got a smart plug? Huh? And my shades won’t pair at all!!!!! The remote is non existent and the app is horrible! Wow what a waste of $800 per shade!
I bought these for my sliding doors and a extra large window in our dining room. We absolutely love them! They are beauitul! We live in Utah where the sun shines most of the year, and these blinds filter the light while still alowing us to see our beautiful view through them. I recommend them 100%! My husband and I installed them in a couple hours. I also have an extra large window in our bathroom. For that window I purchased the same shade with sheers. When open, you can see through the sheers and when closed you get full privacy. Both are beautiful, easy to install, and we are so glad we went with Bali.

I keep going through all these steps and the lights blink and everything, but it does not work the blinds. The blinds work by pushing the button on the blind, but not from the remote still.

As my mother aged, she got to where she could no longer operate standard blinds. So, out of necessity I ordered these “way over priced” blinds. Installation was not difficult. However, trying to program the remote was ridiculous. I followed the instructions step by step at least 25 times. After about 4 hours I gave up and called for tech support. I finally got them working. However, from time to time the remote requires reprogramming and here I go again. 2 weeks ago I replaced the batteries in the blinds and the remote stopped working. I replaced the battery in the remote and still no go. I manually raised the blinds and they have been raised for 2 weeks. I could do nothing else until I had the time and opportunity to be available, at my mother’s house, and once again call tech support. So, today I do not have to go to work…and what do I get to do on my day off? I get to go to my Mom’s house and play with these ridiculously overpriced blinds while feeling like a dummy as someone, once again, over the phone, talks me through the process….The programming steps are not difficult to understand, but boy does that remote have an attitude….
I replaced my remote batteries and had the same issue. I called tech support and they said in the future, to prevent remote from re-setting and unpairing to only remove and replace 1 battery at a time. Thankfully, I have the app on my phone and ipad and have them paired with my shades, so I can control them with my mobile devices until I get my remore re-paired.
i didn't order the battery charger. could you please give me the part# and where to buy it. my blinds currently don't work because of no battery juice. it's urgent. please help.
this sucks...been a year without my motorized shades, and they are literally 20 feet in the air to program. Try holding a button 7 seconds with one hand and the other hand holding onto the ladder without falling. even then, i can't get past the reset phase. Thanks a lot Bali.

These non charging battery cases are junk and run down after a week of nornal use. About 14 times where it opens and closes and the Batteries are dead now. I hAvent used the system for 6 months after remodeling the room these are in...but started with new batteries for the third time now.. Very disappointing
This is GREAT information. We have bullnose-edged drywall-wrapped windows. AND the windows are casement (also known as crank windows). No one could show us how to measure it so that we're not screwing holes into the metal bullnose piece under the drywall. But THIS shows how to do that! It makes so much sense! Thank you for this!
