Walking through my old hood, memories flooding back...this record playing in my Uncle's bedroom, Pamela Anderson poster on the wall, Super Mario and Street Fighter on the Snes, milk and cookies before bed. Hip hop and Warren G made me.
Give this man D.J. Quik his praise. This song is the most classic. Anyone that hates this song doesn't understand music. A straight bomb ass instrumental.
I hope he reaches far across the globe! I'm just an old guy that bought his album i don't know maybe 30 some years ago... from a small city in Canada. Mr. Quik you are the reason i am so g*d damn funky! i didn't know what i was buying but it was the best 30$ i ever spent! took you to every house party .... for years.... oh the stories... Merci and Thank you for choosing all the right paths that made you who you are. I'd like to play it through for youuuuuuuuuu. peace and love

I have liked this song for a long time, got the album back when it came out. But! You have to admit this song doesn't make much sense... he raps about his time growing up and chillin with homies in the hood in all the different verses, but the chorus is "Transformers, Busters in Disguise." The chorus and the rest of the song pretty much have nothing to do with each other...lol
