Can i take my jeep? I wanna test it out lol i live in the area east side lol by calumet park nd wanted to try these trails lol i remember seeing a jeep once on the side where the bidge devides on the border of indiana and Illinois so im wondering can i get thru? Lol
Easy to find. Zip code is 60633. Just look for Wolf Lake. Google Earth the area around the lake. The "Hills" are 1/4 mile west of the lake. "Big grey area on the satellite view." There are usually others up there. Just ask them how to get onto the other trails in the area. My ride started South of the Hills and then continued North to the Hills. I then rode along the east side of the railroad tracks that border the south, and west limits of the Hills and ended up in between the two lakes; Wolf Lake, and Powderhorn Lake. I traveled North along another set of railroad tracks after passing Powderhorn Lake. (These tracks are the state line) I then crossed the IL IN border and rode the east side of Wolf Lake. From there just turned around and back tracked it. Just be warned that if you are running a bike without plates you risk getting a ticket and/or impounded when riding on any public roads. You will have to cross a few to get to the ID side.
