Baltimore is the last place that I would advise anyone to live. The drugs, poor school systems, crime, and dilapidated houses everywhere. No, thank you!
Thats awesome. If you are in need of assistance with your move, I would be honored to help. Here is my contact information: Audrey Rozier Keller Williams Flagship 443-233-1593 Info@AudreyRozier.com
I recently moved here from Atlanta, Georgia…. I find Glen Burnie a safe and convenient place to live.. do not let some of the crime statistics scare you from visiting this place or considering it….. much like any place there are bad areas to avoid. I happen to live in a 400k new home development where more new home communities are on the way… Again, a place worth considering…
I am lookinf to move to Maryland sometime next June. Irs a ross upnbetween Laurel and Columbia. I like Laurel proximity to DC and Baltimore City. I will be sure to reach our to you early next year.
Bowie is pretty great, except for the groups of wanna be thugs. Must be hard out there living in 3 story house with 3 or 4 cars, and garage. Their parents need to whip their 🍑 s more.
I don’t disagree with your selection of nice places to live, but there were a few missteps. Others commenters caught the White Flint Mall error. NSA is in Anne Arundel County, and you pronounced Elliott City like someone new to the area. There’s nothing wrong with giving your opinion, like everyone else on RU-vid.
Thank you for your opinion. I have lived here in Maryland for 28 years. People pronounce “Ellicott City” however they wish to, same as “Baltimore”. People can speak differently. As a realtor, I don’t give my personal opinion but rather share data. That is what I’m allowed to do. As far as the Mall error, that is correct and has been addressed in other comments. As a human, I do try to fact check data but am not always correct. 👍
There is a large discrepancy of educational systems in the various counties of Maryland. Crime can also be an issue the closer you are to the metropolitan areas. The state is liberal, politically, so it has strict gun laws and hasn't seen a tax it doesn't like. -Just a few additional details you might be interested in before joining us here.
Good morning. Great information and stats 👍 on the Bowie-DMV (D.C. region) However, Bowie is actually in Prince George’s County and it is Laurel which fall in 3 to 4 Maryland counties. Many years ago some Bowie residents had an interest in leaving PG County and connecting to Anne Arundel County, but it never happened. Annapolis, Crofton, and Gambrills are in Anne Arundel County which is the Baltimore Metropolitan region. Bowie State University is in Bowie now but, was founded in Baltimore City and moved to Bowie for land and expansion. Building and development affected the land.
Maryland is considered the Upper South. The architect in Maryland is an example of the wealthy Lords of England and German Lutheran who established this region with their wealth and Christian influences. Churches and Universities line the state in every corner, dating back to 1696 such as St. John in Annapolis and Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore City are two quick examples. Divided by the Baltimore metro and DMV-DC regions you quickly learn Maryland is a state of neighborhood divide 4 divided different ethnic groups in each region similar to the Baltimore City neighborhood model. Known for the most progressive blacks in America and the mightiest warriors of Native American Tribes. Maryland’s descendants can confirm living well was paved by Maryland’s forbears and their love ❤️ for her in every Maryland flag.
I am not sure. I would recommend reaching out to Landis directly. They no longer operate in Maryland so I haven’t completed a sale with them in over a year.
Grew up in NY and London but moved to the DMV. The DMV is just a bunch of fat country people trying to one up each other. All fake, and exaggerating and hiding behind their Mickey Mouse Gov’t jobs for a sense of false confidence
There are no pros anymore! The State use to one of the best states to live in, now it sucks. 9th worse state to live in, way to liberal (has be come the California of the east), high taxes, fees, poor schools and high crime. There are three counties that get the majority of tax dollars. It is spent on entitlements in Prince Georges, Montgomery and Baltimore counties. Cost of living is getting out of sight. First time home ownership is barely available because of the high cost of living. We have need a new location and bridge for the Chesapeake Bay, they have spent billions, and billions on studies for over forty years and there is still not bridge, plus they have decided to put it where no one wants it because the area is already under heavily inundated with so much traffic locals can not move anywhere Thursday through Sunday. Way to much government interference in citizen’s daily lives. Not a senior friendly state.

Hey Audrey , very good video . I can do better editing in your videos which can help you to get more engagement in your videos . Pls lmk what do you think ?
Great question. I would say Montgomery county is the Washington metro area. Per google, Central Maryland consists of Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, and Howard counties, and also Baltimore City.
