I could be mistaken but it could be that if my rested Kid character were to be K.O'ed, my Rosinante blocker effect would go off and it would prevent the K.O.
@@JEspintcg I think it might still be the best to attack tho. Otherwise he just takes the hit and have more cards in hand to counter out of attacks later when you have to attack it. I could be wrong tho.
@@lildango102 Yeah, I see that, but that is a 1k counter and a possible 1k or 2k counter more (From life) you now have to hit through later. I'm also not 100% sure what you mean with not having hody pressure? Hody is still on the field, but uta would have 2 less cards in hand making it harder to protect the kid, I feel like that adds more pressure since life does not matter when kid is on the field. At least from my experience playing fortress yamato, being at 1 or 0 life when playing kid was usually what felt best since that meant you had more cards to protect it with. Not sure tho, I think I would have preferred to play urouge + some 5c character (Cavendish would be best imo) or 9c kid to set up next turn when you then play hody and attach don to really go at the kid. But he did not have a 5c but 2 hody so I understand why he played it.
Good point, since if I cleared Sabo, he wouldn't have had a double sabo board the following turn. And if he wanted the double sabo board, it would prevent the luffy clear. Thank you for the call out!
Hey! Hopefully I get to come by NRG soon but here is the Amazon product. Let me know if you have any questions! 60" Aluminum Selfie Stick Tripod Not sure if this link will work but here's a link! www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0B9X49RSM?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
Haha! It sure can be. I've been getting better at the match up. I don't swing at all unless it's my opponents characters. Once I get a board of minimum 4 characters, preferably 2 big guys like kaidos/7 drop kid/etc, and have a 4 cost law in hand, I drop law to drop 2 cards then start swinging. I try to do minimum don commitment for the initial swings since the last swing with 0 life needs to be big. If I can't end then I clear board, if I can't clear I normally pass turn (unless I'm dying then I have to all in).
Grats on getting the win, Pluffy can sometimes get extremely bricky like that. You made it work tho. RP Law gave you a breather, seems like he didnt see his ramping so he kept being super low in don which helped your situation.
Hey! You aren't wrong there but that wouldn't make me better. Id rather have my opponent make the best move possible so I can improve vs winning because he misplayed and I learned nothing. Biggest take away from this match was respect little bodies and clear them. That pudding got too many cards outta my hand lol. If it was a regional or online event sure I wouldn't let it happen but its a friendly local.
For first game I think inking bosk is a mistake, also playing so many cunnings earlier their was a turn where you could have played Firesprayer and could have forced his bounce resources. I think this matchup whoever has firesprayer unchecked wins but i dont play this very much
Hello! Would it be all right with you if I were to do a stream-style commentary on your videos from this event on my own channel? I would cut the player audio and record new commentary that makes it more clear to the viewer what is going on and comments on strategic choices etc. No worries if you'd rather not, just thought I'd offer!
@2:13, Boba unit should not have taken damage. Scout bike was exhuasted and didn’t enter play this turn. The 3 damage takes it out, it already had 2 damage on it. Krennic has no ability that counters this.
you forgot to rest your blocker when he swung 8 at life and you countered 3k and it didnt matter but you could of also used kid effect at the end instead of using luffy leader effect but i love the pluffy gameplay keep posting it :)
Can't 100% say for sure. I will say not at 4. It's a good ramp and comes in clutch vs people dropping big bodies. With ramping, you can sneak extra characters on board like with 8 don you can get up to a 5 character. Or with 9 don you can get up to a 6 character
24:00 tap with firesprays ability, shoot first should be going to cartel spacer , total -9 dmg. You were actually winning this game. Plus cantina bouncer earlier should kill rook, instead of 3 to base. total would be - cartel spacer, - rook, you - 9 dmg, you deal -5 dmg. pretty decent turn considering that you had no good to me dead still.
In game 1 you should have resourced the spacer and kept the seventh fleet. Leila has a lot of 3 health space units. That it can mow through. Spacer is alright but the 2/2 stat line is problematic in this matchup.
Game 2, never resource a surprise strike. Start of the game putting down spacer and no good to me dead would be the best play, open with probe droid and turn 2 you would go either greedo and surprise strike with droid or smuggler depending on board state. Cartel Spacer is very situational, and while its exhaust is useful it’s not a great unit after
This is awesome feedback! Thank you! It all makes sense and all these games should have been smoother. If you have the time, please see the other videos 🙏🙏
In general exhaust isn’t as great against aggro, you should either be racing as quick as possible or usually just keeping their units off the board. All exhausting is doing is letting them get more units out for big rebel assault/leia plays later
Zoro player could have won the match, either attach 3 dons to the leader and swing, zoro 3 rush swing 6k, another zoro 3 rush swing 6k or swing leader at 5 and attack 3 zoro cost rush
@@JEspintcg I got super confused while watching it cuz i didnt know how the queen had gotten removed lol. Did not seem malicous, but def gotta keep those eyes peeled at big events if you ever get the chance to attend.
As someone that mained Pluffy all 05 and been working on a build now and have mained Fortress as well, really enjoyed the match. Played it really well. I was worried about Rag being used and then Kid coming down. But he was low cards in hand and you still had the kaido pop in hand. Well played! As for the mr2 getting nami’d it was so unfortunate. The 6k swing is nice but sometimes I wonder if it’s worth waiting to play before swonging
Ayy! Glad to meet another Pluffy player! But good point on Mr 2. It's either a 5k or 6k swing and I'm worried that Yamato would drop a 1k but at the same time, most people just take the first life any way.
Nice video! Keep up the work and keep grinding. I also play Enel i think the double pop from Yamato hurt a bit, keeping you at 3 enabled them to establish a board. Possibly consider being at 2 to turn off the Yamatos!
I like them so far. Sometimes Paulie can't KO anything and ms all sunday can provide extra draw and ramp. Or if I go 2nd and drop ms all sunday on turn 2, I don't need paulie to ramp to 10 don by turn 4.
Great game. Hody seems to be a lot of fun ^^ Hope you enjoy it as much as it looks like :D Just 2 lil things: 1. Camie can't search out the ark, the {} means it has to be the exact wording aka merfolk and fish-man 2. At 8:45 you were 1k counter short :3 Otherwise great game like I said ^^ Curse Bege xD
Thank you for the tips! I'm going to keep giving Hody a try, I like this new build. Running double searcher (Camie and Nami). But great catch on the camie search, I don't mean to cheat I swear! 😄
Thanks for the video! I'm a pluffy player too! Just mastering the deck! Gonna see everthing to learn and improve my matches! How do you felling in matches? Enel, Kata, Saka, Whitebeard? Zoro is trouble always for me!
Enel, try to get paulie on curve to stop any olm and holy combos. Drop double 5's on turn 4 (if you can magellan). Kata, similar to Enel but you can drop Kaido sooner since you don't need multiple attacks to end like Enel. (Yellow in general, if you hit triggers play around it. maybe you stop the attack and play blockers etc. Triggers are annoying but I always felt I could win the game regardless). Saka, try going 1st and drop 4 cost, then paulie, into double 5 drops untill you can keep the board. Always attack with blockers and 6Ks. Kaido is good too but it will get removed most of the time. focus on cards that give value on play. Whitebeard, Play your 6Ks and keep swinging for 6, clear board, and drop blockers. Don't go to 0 life due to unblockable attacks. When whitebeard is on his last life, only push for life if he may 9 drop newgate. Zoro, is hard! Focus on not using leader ability as much. Try to go second for additional cards, 5 drop blocker, and you can use paulie without ramping. Clear board and don't attack life. Only attack life untill you have board advantage. (similar to bello betty!) Feel free to ask any other questions!
I'll have to give 3 kaido a try again. Its one of those cards I want to see every game. I also haven't tried King. Do you feel his -1 don cost sets you back a bit?
