If you get a chance to pick up the "47 Ronin" steelbook, don't hesitate. It's one of the coolest looking steelbooks in my collection. The front has embossed Japanese characters, and the colors both on the back and inside artwork are just so vivid/amazing. Happy steelbook hunting and thanks for sharing your collection.
Godzilla isn't a SteelBook.. it's a MetalPak. I HATE MetalPaks eventhough I have it.. that one isn't that bad because it's embossed and it has a speaker built in.

There's a Mondo Steelbook for First Blood, The artwork is so great but I am not sure how the picture quality is going to be. I did get myself a Terminator 2 Mondo Steelbook awhile back and was so hugely dissappointed over the picture quality of that blu ray. The Steelbook is lovely though but I was hoping with the price I bought, they would have improved the picture quality. It felt like as though I was watching the film on DVD. Anyway there's going to be a T2 3D release this year so yeah, I'll end up double dipping since I am sure the T2 3D will have an improved picture quality.
I seriously need to do an update. I have all the Mondo Steels. They are great looking in design for sure. T2 has been remastered, but sadly that disc was. it used for this release. For T2 I always watch the Skynet Edition so I can watch the Judgment Day cut of the film. First Blood looks good and is the same transfer, to the best of my knowledge, as previous releases. I feel like it would be weird to have only 1 movie of a series on steelbook. Especially if it's not the first in the series, like how you only have the Captain America sequel on steelbook. Personally, if the sequel was only on steelbook, then I wouldn't want to buy it. But if I had the first movie of a series on steelbook and not the rest then it wouuldn't bug me aass much. That's just me though, I'm kind of OCD like that lol

My first steelbook was actually lord of the rings (all 3 best buy exclusives) ever since I tend to pick up ones I really like. The walking dead target steelbooks are incredible and go for a good chunk of money if kept sealed

Sorry to keep commenting bro, Ironman one steel book you can find that thing for under $200 in bad condition, if you want to brand-new it will be like $400 check it out on future shop or eBay even Amazon,i've been trying to get that one for years, last year they put it out for sale on Best Buy I pre-ordered it, and guess what I did not get it they said they oversold and gave me Tim percent off my next purchase LOL! Scarface was my first steel book, it got me addicted too! , I bought it about three years ago still have not opened it but I know what's inside because I've watched openings on RU-vid, but I did buy the regular case of the remastered Scarface it looks excellent and sounds great compared to the original, mostly talking about the music and the sound effects it sounds like a brand-new movie as well as looks
Open it, honestly there is no point collecting and not using them, I've been a massive film collector for years started with videos when I was about 8 years old have a massive amount of videos that are worth nothing now they changed to DVDs you can't even give them away. Once they change the format films come on they'll be worth nothing anyway so might aswel use them. That is unless you plan to sell them before they change format but as a collector myself we know your not planning on selling them.
They're typically the same version as what's released on regular BR, but the packaging is the only difference. There are some out there they may be a little differen, but that's far in between.

The trading cards did not originally have 'just a Bat-logo' on the back; they had varying content; some were in groups that formed larger pictures when assembled. There were many more than 44 cards issued, also. Content missing from the Blu-Ray set: The very first episode, "Hi Diddle Riddle", originally had an opening narration that is absent here. (The Portuguese audio does have ITS version of it, BTW.) At the end of "Shoot a Crooked Arrow" was a special announcement segment about Bat-vehicles, including "new" ones -- Bat-copter and Bat-boat, seen in the movie over the past summer of '66, but not yet on TV -- missing from Blu-Ray. "Marsha's Scheme of Diamonds" is missing its ENTIRE TAG SCENE (where Bruce & Dick watch 'Aunt Hilda' teaching cooking to girls). And most sweepingly, of the 46 'next villain still tags' originally seen during the first two seasons, only ELEVEN are present -- 35 are missing -- and two of those that ARE seen name the wrong villain! Missing tags include a 'special announcement' from the end of the last season-2 episode ("The Duo Defy") about the following week's repeat of the series' first episode, showing moving images from the episode, with this narrative: "Next week, a repeat of the very first Batman broadcast -- the show which gave television a big breath of fresh air. If you missed it then, don't miss it next week!" It's appropriate that the final 'next villain tag' that IS included is "for Shame"!

Nice! There's also a Harry Potter steelbook collection from Germany that comes in a really nice display case that all the steelbooks slip into. Expensive though.
