I hadn't heard this piece since I sang it in my h.s. choir in 1970. I listened to about 10 recordings here on youtube, and this was, by far, the best! Congratulations!

Exposing high schoolers to some of this more 20th century literature is the best thing ever. Especially like Villette, Messiaen, Frank Martin, maybe lesser known Vaughan Williams. Good on you!
impressive. not a typical h.s. sound. sops and bass are really nice. tuning very nice. tenor good, but could improve on vol. i would take less breaths and connect the phrases more. it could be, for this particular choir, a superior interpretation, as they seem to have unusual musical ability. i love this piece, and as an episcopalian and a professional tenor and choir singer, i always think of the beautiful autumn, when i hear this. really enjoyed it.
really good singers and so unexpected to make such great music. cutoffs, clipping phrases, diphthong problems---you know how it can turn out, but there is at least one good hs choir there.

Too sing-songy and sweet sounding. It should be more rough and powerful, because this song shows an imagery of the strong typhoons in the philippines. Overall good performance.
i think you should work for your accent and pronunciation in Philippine folk songs, but it was impressive because many Filipino folk songs (arranged) are great and difficult songs... thumbs up :)
i think the accents and pronounciation must be practiced more.. but overall its very good for a foreign choir trying to sing the philippine folklore music :) proud to be a filipino...
