I hate all the stats the vertical jump etc.... A good coach or scout will see a player and what he can do and or potentially do. His IQ is very high and extremely coachable young man.
Ron already lost 10lbs and had converted much of his weight into muscles. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-u2Cnw3epGHI.html Any chance you could do a Remy Martin? TIA.
His lack of vertical pop is concerning for sure, but he has the building blocks for every other facet of the game you’d want a center to have in the modern NBA. He’s a solid rim protector. He’s a phenomenal passer as a 5. He has a high steal rate which can signify high Bball IQ. He shoots it pretty well from the FT line and his 3pt attempt rate is very solid for a 7 footer. Also the mechanics of his 3pt shot are very compact and repeatable. I’d bet he shoot’s it around 35-38% in the NBA once he adjusts to the line and gets comfortable. I see Orlando as a late 1st-early 2nd rd pick and think he will end up as a 3rd big in a playoff team’s rotation. He’d be perfect for PnR where he gets the ball quickly ok then roll for a 4 on 3 and either attacks to score or diagnoses the D and sprays perfect dimes all over the court. I’d bet he has a long productive career. Never an all star. Not a “star” in any way but a very useful player on a good team.
So what’s the downside on him? His name is missing in both rounds of almost every mock draft I’ve looked at. Either they’re sleeping on him or he’s really lacking in some area. I know a lot of guys get overlooked for being a 3 or 4 year college guy too. NBA scouts overlooked & underrated Herb Jones for that very reason and he’s already the best perimeter defender in the league today in my opinion. He’s top 3 no matter how you slice it.
@@GunninRebel55 Yeah his lack of athleticism and lack of verticality are the only two real knocks on him that I can see. I don’t know why he isn’t getting more love in draft circles.
Totally agree. Hope he can find his way to the Nuggets. Would love to see what he becomes as a Jokic disciple. The lack of “athleticism” can be overcome with high IQ. I see that potential in Robinson. Reminds me of a less skilled but higher IQ KAT. Perfect backup big in Denver.
Agreed! I’d definitely like to see a more in depth look at this guys strengths and areas he needs to improve. Offensively he seems to have elite potential and that alone should make him worth a 2nd round pick at the least. Idk anything about his defensive prowess. An inability to finish at the rim is problematic but can be remedied under the right coach. I’m wondering what do you think about Yannick Nzosa? I think he has elite defensive ability that can be a game changer if it translates.
Nice one! Enjoying your channel! Take a look at smzeus . c o m! It’s a very powerful tool, you can promote all of your social media profiles, RU-vid videos etc!!
How many times are the Charlotte Hornets going to be in the top 5 lottery teams. MY GOD! Every year they pick high in the lottery for the last 15 years. When are they going to be competitive? WHEN!
Why the 2 top picks got losing records leading their team. LaMelo can't lead his team to Wins And so does Anthony Edwards. I feel like LaMelo is gonna fall. All this Potential...right?? Like his Brother Lonzo had and did.
Okongwu is a better defender and top Big man to alot of people. Okongwu had the Highest +/- in college by alot. James Wiseman didn't play a full college year Soo... Plus Okongwu can guard guards very well. Don't get me wrong tho. Wiseman is a Beast. 7'1... Okongwu got compared to the modern day Bill Russell. That's crazy by itself.
WTF!!! The bulls trading Zach LaVine (their top star player), Tomas Satoransky, Wendell Carter Jr. with their 4th top pick in exchange for Wiggins (note the bulls will still have Porter Jr. And Hutchison that play the SF position), Looney and Smaiagic (note the Bulls will still have Markkanen and Young that play the PF spot) and just for them to draft LaMelo Ball who is very similar to his brother that can't shoot just like Lonzo Ball. Seriously! WTF are you smoking bro? If I'm in the position of the GS Warriors I'm laughing so hard right now knowing I pretty much F the Bulls so hard in this trade. Lucky the Bulls new GM is much more smarter then our past GM. You want a fair trade with the Warriors? realistically the Bulls will mostly offer instead: Otter Porter Jr., Chandler Hutchison, Luke Kornet and Kris Dunn including their 4th and 44th pick in exchange for Wiggins, Looney, and for their 2nd pick. To me that is a fair trade, Since the Bulls are giving them a young productive talent with expiring contracts like Otter Porter Jr. who will become a free agent next season and will relief the Warriors more cap space for 2021-2022 to sign a big star talent. With the 4th pick the Warriors can still get a quality player if Deni and Wiseman are on the board which is most likely.
Top 4 picks barring no trades... Wolves, Obi Toppin. Toppin's a NBA ready player who doesn't need the ball in his hands. Warriors. James Wiseman. Wiseman fills a need at Center for the Dubs and playing alongside Steph, Klay, Wiggins and Draymond they'll need someone to play off the ball. Hornets LaMello Ball. He's the glamour pick, although they really need size in the front-court more than anything. Bulls, Anthony Edwards. Although he doesn't fulfill a need for the Bulls he could be groomed to replace Zach LaVine someday. Or the Bulls could try Zach at the 3. Drafting Edwards will take away touches from Lauri Markkanen, but he's likely to be traded anyways.
They are predicating so many things wrong in this video. Clearly they need to do more research and study every franchise team needs and their roster of players that they have.
