Hey thanks for the video are these easy to work on I have my eye on 86 js550 post says not sure if it runs looks decent haven’t seen the engine anything I should look out for?
Well, the hard part is the owner doesn’t know if it runs or not so if you were to find out if it runs or not you would need to grab a battery jumper and a compression tester, after all that check for spark, and if there is I would put some two-stroke mix in the cylinder, and try to fire it up. good luck

And get the walls very very clean I would use a blow dryer while it's spinning and I would heat up to 10 and warm for it to slow down a little bit quicker and to clean it and tilt the drain more on a slant to get every bit of the honey too

That little black button is supposed to be mounted under the left hand brake lever. It’s a safety switch so you lock the brakes then it’ll start, then u release the brakes and it’s good to go riding. I have the same one, let me know if you ever want to sell it
Any idea why my js 550 lags or bogs at higher speeds and after running for 15 minutes+ and stalling or turning it off it won’t start back up until the next day? Possible to vapor lock? Thank you
Why would you put an anno rod like in a hot water heater it makes all the salt stick to it I mean idk if you just bought this thing or not but seems like a feature that should come from factory
Definitely need to look into that. I’m sure there is a solution, but I think the main thing is to do proper maintenance and do a proper flush. I just bought this boat.
