You're right 🤭and recently added in the workshop. 😅 I've used a similar skin long before the "Next Gen" launch and I don't recall it to be so bad. But oh well, now is simpler to manage all the mods directly from Steam Workshop.
And again, it was a pain to get most of the footage from the Switch, each individual clip, by using the "upload to smart device" method. :D I hope the next console we get some addressing on this.
Oh I hated this stage. Those spider vampires creeped me out to no end. I first played this with a friend hanging out. In the main courtyard you could hear one of those creatures clicking around, then it turned out it was in one of the buildings there and supprised me. We were both spooked and decided it was time for a break.
Obviously, this guys first time playing soul reaver. I'm glad he figured it out eventually. It was driving me nuts watching the beginning of the boss fight knowing that you had to use the gates to impale him, then crush him when he's in the center.
@@jamesford5504 yes I've played SR2 a lot. Played SR1 until Kain first encounter in 2002 or something like that. So, not the first time but 20+ years is enough to forget everything. Plus I was getting some glitches because I was using the FS hack. Because of playing so much SR2 I was watching the gates but thinking that I hadn't yet the "transversal", and hadn't noticed the passage to the leaver for too long on that gameplay. 😅
The only way I could get the upper blocks removed was to activate a cheat for getting the constrict that isn't available to get on this stage, it didn't work reload the save and the game and backtrack again to here because the blocks were already stacked when I've saved. But, even after that, I could not move the base block again. So....Bug... Over the air game updates weren't a thing back then. Guess I have to restart the game from the beginning.
Acho é que o ruído chama a atenção demasiado cedo para ali, mas pelo menos é uma forma de identificar onde raio estavam aqueles puxadores que quando foram apresentados não via como lá chegar, ainda por cima tens de usar uma porta que fica numa abertura quase escondida que abres quando bates num sino que não se mantém aberta muito tempo que nem sei como a consegui manter aberta para lá entrar :D
@@miguelferrazcosta Agora não me lembro se essa parede se mantém aberta quando passas de material para spectral após a ativar, ou se eu é que no passado tentei fazer isso tantas vezes que ficou gravado na minha cabeça como "solução" 😂
@miguelferrazcosta I think I got attached to sr1 because I was only like 12 or 13 when it came out so I was awestruck..... plus going back after you beat one of your brothers and finding secrets like all the glyphs and extra life pieces
@miguelferrazcosta I went back and re watched the video, the block puzzle with the blocks in the air will get you part of a health upgrade, to break the last crystal open just the bottom 2 steam pipes on the right side
Did you ever get it to work? Hop up on the ledge opposite the gate and instead of grabbing the blocks just push the button and it should push the top 3 blocks off the stack
@@miguelferrazcosta are there still blocks to solve on the ground floor, I thought there was a puzzle where after you place a majority of the blocks 4 more drop from the ceiling
For some reason I can't seem to get Free Aim to work properly. I only get 8 direction aiming. I've tinkered with the settings over and over again, but I cannot get rid of the "dead zones" to get full 360 aiming...
hmmm, that's strange, I've never noticed something like that on my run. Have to check that again. I've finished this game but I'm on my run on hard mode. Have also to check if there are any maintained Citra fork.
It's the widescreen hack of the emulator. 😅 Hope someday gets better. Don't know if it's something that only happens with the custom textures. But I don't think so. Don't know if there are any fixes for this already.
I hope we really get the rumored remaster and that it can be successful enough for us to get a new game, a decent one after Defiance, or for me, I would love a Raziel prequel from when he was a vampire.
@@xKillZone99 yup. But I've finished the game even in that state on Citra. And it's a pity that now we'll never get an improvement for that, don't know if someone is actively working on the forks for this.
Yes, you can connect a laptop to Steam Deck or Rog Ally to transfer files, or you can connect a SD or RA to a video capture (if that is what you mean) but this was captured by using a Decky plugin, and uploaded directly from SD to RU-vid. In some of my videos I do edit them directly on Desktop mode using kdenlive.

It's really great, and I love it. Unfortunately, they didn't have so much luck with this series, and they made some mistakes, but still, they are great games.
@@SolSeal Yup, they've made some mistakes on that one right from the start, especially with the stealth parts, but those are just a lesser part of the game; it has so much more on it, but probably that was the main reason for the game not have so much success.

@miguelscosta I see it this way; when cameras were invented, painters were also outraged when they saw that with a click of a button, you could do what a master painter would do in YEARS. And now, both are seen as separate art forms never disappearing, like a concert that consists of a laptop on a stage playing AI generated music wont attract as much people as an actual concert, I am still kinda worried about digital art, though.
The game would crash at specific points, and I had to continue those sections on my PC. The game works well until it doesn't. It should be rated playable instead of verified. I did end up finishing it on the deck.
