Matthew is no stranger to cinematography. Having spent over 10 years as a photographer it was only natural for him to make the transition into film. It was his father's love for the art that initially encouraged him to pick up his first camera, the Canon AE-1.
As a photographer, Matt spent his time understanding composition, light, and story-telling through imagery. The love for the trade truly came though in his work. In addition to photography and cinematography, Matt has also spent time learning a unique art form called Time-Lapse. His work has been featured on NBC and used in many films.
Over the years this combination of technical skills and passion has taught him the importance of connecting with the audience and creating an emotional experience for them.
What a wonderful shots. By the way, am I allowed to use one of your footage on my short movie? it's a school assignment. I'll put your name on my credit title.
HP should have been saved. It was the heart and soul of CA racing industry, everyone lost because they didn't come together to keep what was theirs. I, too, mourn and miss HP forever and ever.
