If none of the buttons work it sounds broken. You might try turning the power off (either unplug, perhaps from under the sink) or flip the breaker off. Leave it off for a few minutes and turn it back on. Unlikely this will resolve it but maybe worth a shot before you call an appliance repair person. Good luck!
Here is what I bought. Of course measure your stairs to get something appropriate. Stair Treads Non Slip 6”x 30”,... www.amazon.com/dp/B08FR5SYYX?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Do you know what the model number is for this dishwasher? We’ve had it for about 6 years now and need replacement parts for the upper rack… I can’t find the model number anywhere! TIA
You know I'm not sure but it is so quiet I never considered needing it. And I have a great room set up where my dishwasher is in the same room space as my living room.
@@show_me_howto I got one, and it does have a delay function. 5 months into using it, and I agree--so quiet. Glad I got it. Thank you for sharing your experience too.
I see this video is a few years old so I don't know if anyone will see this. I have this exact machine and while it does the job okay my suction is nowhere near what yours is doing here! Does anyone have a solution or recommendation for that? I've cleaned the clear front section as best I can.
I know this video is 2 yrs old but still want to say thank you…one of the questions you addressed was the long cycle. I just got mine today 2024 and the first cycle is still going after 3 hrs on normal, heat dry and sani wash. I stupidly thought sani wash is what released the liquid jet dry. This video helped. I went looking for info due to the ridiculous long wash cycle and couldn’t find anything in the manual.
Why is the machine not pullung water out from the carpet. Its still wet when dragged back on holding the button and without holding yields the same result.
Can you open the door while it's running? Or does it lock itself for the entire washing cycle? We have a front control dishwasher with a lock lever. It's handy to unlock the lever to open it... just in case I want to add something after it starts. I'm thinking of getting a newer dishwasher. I'm not familiar with top-control dishwashers.
Never used one of these before and my bf was worried I would break his so I RU-vidd how to use this machine and your video was the 1st video!! Gonna send this video to him to see if this is what he wants me to do!! Thanks!!
I can't believe this, I just bought a Kitchen Aid Top Botton control Dish washer brand new and the god damn thing won't even start. Now its stuck in some mode where buttons are blinking and I can't even change the cycles. This is redicilous I never been so frustrated over a dish washer before, with a simple procedure just trying to get the damn thing started.
Yes that's pretty normal with a modern dishwasher. They take awhile but are more water and power efficient. You can use the fast cycle if you are in a hurry and then hand dry.
I just moved and moved into my first house and it has a KitchenAid dishwasher and I’ve had no idea how to use it until I watched the super helpful tutorial! You are really simple and to the point to understand, and I just put in my first load of dishes
@@show_me_howto Look all the way to the right it says lock. It keeps all the controls from working. You don't need to use it because the door has to be open to access the controls. On my machine the controls are on the top outside. If you just brush against them the machine starts. I have to use the lock out to keep that from happening.
It’s nice to have a countdown timer on the front or have a dishwasher that’s hooked up to an app so you can see where the machine is in the cycle. Not knowing how long a cycle is or not knowing when it will finish would drive me up a wall. We can request our machine to finish at a time we specify.
Is it a steam cleaner? So important to use the rinse function after washing. You basically do the same process, except with the dial switched over to rinse. We forgot to rinse once and the carpet got dirty very quickly. Oops.
You saved my life from food poisoning. Mine wasn't running at all...I thought it was simply very quiet with an excellent Dry cycle. Gotta hit Start that second time!
Were you able to get out of Swedish? Here's the instructions for resetting, that might bring it back to English: 1. Press the "Start/Stop" button. 2. Hold the button for three seconds and release. Select the program and options on the front panel you want the dishwasher to use. 3. Press "Start/Stop" to restart the dishwasher. You have now reset an Asko dishwasher.
Thank you! After cleaning it I knew this was a wonderful machine to use to clean a heavily soiled carpet, but I seemed to be running too quickly through detergent. To travel as if it were a vacuum cleaner misses the benefit of the scrubbing brushes
This carpet is not being _steam_ cleaned - it's just being washed with water! Steam is created at 100ºc, when water is so hot it starts to evaporate. If you're following Hoover's instructions - which it very much looks like you are - then your water is at around 40ºc. I'd pay good money to watch you make steam at 40ºc! You could patent that, and single-handedly reduce the world's climate change impact. 🤣
You're right of course, these types of machines don't produce steam but I have always thought of the product category as "steam cleaners". I guess carpet shampooers might be more accurate.
This was the perfect video. Saw another one with 300k views that was garbage. Thank you for covering all of the essential details, especially trigger usage.
