Yhiala, it's Amazing! I love your creativity. Reshaping (literally) a monster mishmash into a stunning minimalist creation. With your deft architectural vision and careful editing, the the Coastal Residence was transformed into a stunning home. Loved your minimal use of colors, as well as the use of curtains and shades to impart the warmth of those elements. Thank you for sharing your beautiful creation. It's truly a sight to behold. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

I sold it for a profit, but I can't tell you how much it was. My focus is on implementing my idea of the house design. The economic figures hardly play a role for me. 😉
I love them, too. Although I create a lot of rather modern houses here, it was a lot of fun to work on a house like this. Unfortunately, the finish "Damaged painted wood" is no longer available in story mode. With the summer update it was removed and is only available in sandbox mode. I was reallly happy that the house was mostly done before this update.
You have to sell the original roof and install a new one. I accidentally sold parts of the roof during the renovation and then decided to change it completly. 😅
Hi there.. First of all, fantastic job. I love these vids. Would you mind telling me how you do the table/desk that the sink sits on? I noticed in another 1 of your vids you did a similar thing in a kitchen and had some stools sat underneath it. It looks really clean but I can't find those items or work out how you've achieved it. Thanks! Also how are you doing the kitchen cabinets with the shelf space on the back, but the lovely doors and drawers on the front?? Amazing! 😊
I've built the table/desk under the sink with walls. To hide the board of the sink I used a tiny building molding "Jungfrau". Since stainless steel is unfortunately not available for the kitchen cabinets as a surface I used chipboard "Bits and bobs" to create the look. Unfortunately you cannot open the doors. To create the shelfspace I used also walls and the building molding "Jungfrau".
I hope I didn't miss anything... 😉 Outside surfaces: Floor: - White marble tiles (Color palette: Drab - darkest grey beside black) - Pea gravel tiles (Color: second from left) - Stained beech panels (Color palette: Faded - right side - fifth row, first from right) - Square paving stone tiles (Color palette: Drab - Color 1: - second grey beside black, Color 2: black) Walls: - Grey paint (Color: third grey from left/ Material: rough plaster) - Stained walnut panels (Color palette: Drab - right side - fifth row, first from left) - Painted wood panels (Color palette: Drab - darkest grey beside black) - Stack bond bricks (Color palette: Drab - Color 1: right side - fifth row, first from left, Color 2: black) - Stained beech panels (Color palette: Faded - right side - fifth row, first from right) Inside surfaces: Floor: - White marble Tiles (Color palette: Drab - darkest grey beside black) - Raw stone tiles (Color palette: Drab - second grey beside black) Walls: - Grey paint (Color: second grey from left/ Material: Venetian plaster) - Stack bond bricks (Color palette: Drab - Color 1: right side - fifth row, first from left, Color 2: black) - Grey paint (Color: darkest grey/ Material: rough plaster) - Raw stone tiles (Color palette: Drab - second grey beside black) - Bathroom: White marble tiles (Color palette: Drab - darkest grey beside black) Doors: - Matte plastic (Color palette: Drab - darkest grey beside black) Windows: - Black Iron
I thought the frame on the ceiling, where the lights are attached, was made of the building element "Jungfrau", until a few hours later when I wanted to hang the lights....lol
If you have time, I would like to know which sofa you used. I can't find one that looks like it and certainly not with so many cushions. Thanks in advance.
Sehr schön ❤ Ich habe zwar auch die Außenwand eingerissen und große Fenster eingebaut, aber auf die Idee mit dem Balkon bin ich nicht gekommen. Das ist echt gut geworden!
Hi, try to take into account that for a plant to live, it needs a minimum of light, or even a lot for sure; in reality, half of your plants would have died after 15 days; otherwise good job
Wow.
It is exactly the kind of design we have come to expect from you: spacious and modern. What I personally think is well-chosen, is the floor around the stilts. It reminds me of the sand at sea after the tide has just gone out. These fine ridges, do you know what I mean? Great, thank you!
Beautiful, those solutions you keep coming up with. Hats off! At the same time, it raises questions such as, do you do the exterior renovation first (because otherwise you won't be able to get to anything), but that is also not possible without knowing what you want to do with the inside. Those walls with the holes are intriguing. What are they called? Sorry, as a layman, I probably marvel too much at the work of a real architect. Can you give us a little insight into how you approach a project?
Oh no, I'm not an architect. I'm interested in it, but I'm not working in that direction. In fact, I first design the exterior of the building (where the entrance to the house will be, where some windows will be placed, etc.) before creating the interior floor plan. However, I may change parts of it later if it doesn't fit. I built the holes in the walls using the “Elgon” sheet metal block.
For thhe storage under the TV I used a rectangular “Jalava” shelf. The wickerwork and the border are made of chipboard "Bits and bobs". The railing was also created with "Bits and bobs".
