Lets freaking go gamers! This is wild, I'm not caught up at all but I'm watching this just to leave a comment close to upload date and the progress is insane. The same molds being there from the start give me a lot of hope of what systems could have been set up temporarily and torn down or just became permanent fixtures LOL Thanks for your commentary by the way, it feels like a great mix of tutorial and old school let's play. Friend explaining their grind while you play something else type stuff.
@@jadenwilliams4807 Haha yeah it's been a long ride to this point, it's kind of crazy to look back at early episodes and see the same molds since way back then. It's kind of nice to have it as the centerpiece of the base lol I'm glad you like the commentary, it's fun for me to chill and ramble about what I'm doing, even when it's being confused about missing blocks from a build lol The fission automation tutorial is coming soon btw, I remember you wanted to see the full rod automation setup
@@camerontupper1138 Haha yeah pretty much, it's a very lategame material in GT6 that you get from processing the bedrock dust that the large multiblock bedrock drills sometimes produce. It's used for high tier pipes, drums, and tools, and can be used to produce Vibranium (yes the same material from Marvel) in a fusion reactor
Yeah it's definitely an impressive feat that it's so fleshed out. Greg is a madlad for sure, and Erik (the guy who redesigned fission) deserves a big shoutout too for all his work
@@obufkof Thanks man, it's not a big deal to me if GT6 is big for views, I just like to spread my knowledge to people who might want it, especially about the more niche stuff in the mod. I'll get an episode of the playthrough out soon
@@gruthakhul100Appreciate ya man, for sure GT6 isn't for everyone, but it's more accessible than you might expect. It just requires a little more patience and planning than other mods, but I find it to be more intuitive
64 is a transition amount, you can run it in either T1 or T2 machines so you could run that silicon in there you just need a better turbine and boilers
the couldren doesnt technically have a tank so you have to have a bandwidth of i believe it is 250L min but best to just have a full bucket min bandwidth.
Hey Krallen, I'm not up to date but still keen to see this series continue. No pressure if you're busy, you just seemed really keen at the end of this one so I wanted to see what was up.
@@statik6334 Hey, I'll be starting back up soon, I've just been busy for a while with life and other games. I'm definitely going to push all the way to the end (fusion) and beyond so don't worry. Large matter fabricator is up next
why not use a workbench with barrel of water next to it for the coke bricks? it also pains me so that you have infinite water on but still setup next to a river.
gem tipped tools are 1/4 the durability, you would be better off just making a nether star pickaxe. the gem was added so you can get the gem benefit without needing higher tier gems or a T2 cutter to make the plates for the regular tool.
Hi, I've been trying to get FalseTweaks to run in my playthrough of GTNH and I noticed you stopped using it in this video. Can we discuss that? If you mention it in the video, I will go ahead and watch it; don't want you to repeat yourself! :) thanks! PS. Congrats for getting so far :) saw you're up to naquadah in your latest stuff which is awesome
Hey, now that you point it out, my modlist in the descriptions isn't accurate. I'll try to fix it so it reflects what I'm actually using. I do remember having to mess around with some of those optimization mods to get them running properly, since some of them do conflict, but I can't remember if I had to do anything specific for falsetweaks since it was a while back. I would definitely check the github to see if you're experiencing any of the known common issues or incompatibilities; I think it's incompatible with Angelica at the very least if you're using that.
@@krallen_7377 Thanks for getting back to me! You rock, hadn't caught the thing with Angelica. Did poke through the issues but nothing conclusive... I don't understand it but soon I think I will. Take it easy :)
The large electrolyzer only auto-outputs on the main block so you will need pumps if you need the output to come out at the top. You can also put an inventory and tank extender below the main block (primary facing up) with a hopper below for item output, and the secondary facing going to a quadruple fluid pipe for fluid output.
oh Gregorius, what did you do...? jk ofc, he is the best :P you seem to be the only youtuber so far that seem to take GT6 serious, so please take my sub!
Yep electricity is, but GT6 also has other power systems like rotation units, kinetic units, laser units, and quantum units that operate on similar systems. There are a variety of machines that use those different power types to do different kinds of tasks, and it's up to you as the player to figure out how to get the right power units to the right machines, either using direct means, or through power converters
I am probably horribly late to the party, but I want to ask a beginner's question anyway: We've just started playing GregTech. There is a big problem: we can't seem to find any copper outside of small ores on beaches. Is there no remedy to this situation? Are we missing something or can we just opt out to Wrought Iron instead? Thanks in advance
there are a few copper baring ores, malachite and azurite spawn with limonite, chalcopyrite spawns with sphalerite and kesterite and stannite with tin/cassiterite. the main source is obviously copper ore witch spawns with tetrahedrite but you can go with the others in a pinch. the tetra/copper veins are rarer but huge, once you find one you shouldnt need any more.
The pahohoe lava centrifuge system makes copper and tin, the lava itself is infinite from the fluid spring in the mining dimension, so I have infinite copper, tin, gold, silver, lead, basalt (which gets me iron and magnesium), and therefore any alloy of those materials
