Biggest thing to consider when stockpiling for a post SHTF reality is sound report. Any supersonic round unsuppressed is going to give away your position or general direction every time. If you're talking about ammo for small game hunting, you really cannot go wrong with standard velocity .22LR CCI ammo suppressed, all you'll hear is the action cycling. Another thing to consider is if you're looking for trouble, you'll find it. All too often people get wrapped up in the latest gear, vests and all things tactical when prepping while forgetting the basics of survival. If you cannot obtain food and water or sustain a garden and process game for food, cool gear is going to be the least of your worries and i'll be happy to trade you for a few meals for all your gear.
If you could customize your ideal compensated pistol for peak performance-focusing on reducing recoil and improving accuracy-what features would be a must-have for you, and why?
If the gate on side your house needs security, put some fishing line and treble hooks. Tie one end to the house and put the other side on a fence with a rubber band. When they walk through, the hooks will grab them and the rubber band will pop and fling the hooks back onto the perp.
this video is very biased towards federal even claiming the cci velocitor is 200fps slower when you can read on boxes in video cci is 400fps faster. watched a dif channel which also showed that federal box missmarked as standard velocity. if thats a wrong packaging issue they all need recalled as that can cause feed issues and damage to fine quality blowback semiauto guns that require standard velocity only like Highstandard, Smith & wesson, Browning etc. and danger to shooter. just 1 reason I have always considered Federal as the poorest quality ammo since the 1960s until lower quality stuff showed up few years ago and top brands sold out to low quality manufacturers also. used to only buy Remington, CCI and Winchester. then Norma and Hornady on HP rifle ammo. Federal was only choice for 16ga shotgun and 50cal BMG at times though about 10% duds common in the 60s-80s hate squibs for auto. deadly to shooters. Dad and Grandpa were FFLs from 1940s-2000s so I know a bit about this.
Like how my KSG 12 got some love in the intro and at the end it can do 6+6+1 or 7+7+1 depending on the shell size OR you be full retarded like me and do 11+11+1 with mini lol I'm a small dude so I find it easier on my shoulders.

A few of these would actually be nice. The door wedge does actually work, though there are better options, and if you have thermals tho fog machine is actually the GOAT.
