Also wondering what happens before switch on when there is a ball already sitting at spinning wheels. I'm guessing the only solution is manual removal of the ball, right?
I find having auto control of ball direction counter intuitive to what the purpose of the machine is for. I.e. drilling the same type of shot again and again.
I too am trying horizontal mount. Im working on ball hopper mechanism now and think ball jams is the hardest thing to contend with. No.2 I found it hard to find matching wheels and couplers but eventually is ok. Thats the two hardest things i think.
What ball drop systems are people trying. What about a series of parallel tubes. And a simple actuator. Although im guessing spinning disc must be the only good solution as its all you ever see
Hi, great project. I am trying to make one but I am struggling. are you sharing the project? selling a propotype? tutorial? i am very interested. thanks
Hi, great job on the quality of the construction. I'm currently working on my own (vertical orientation) and I would like to have more info on the material of the wheels and how did you balanced them so well. Also what kind of motor coupling did you use?
Amazing project!!! I’m from Brazil and appreciate your job!!!! I try to make a similar machine but I have no idea to begin. I’m not engineer or electrical engineer. Please if as possible could you share with me the project go try to do myself?? Email: chtanuri@aol.com Tks so much!!!’n
@@satyaprasad369 The wheels are made of silicon rods lathe to size with curvature in the center. Below are some pics. For more details send me your WhatsApp number
Mike the motor is from amp flow and is available online. I don't now which country you are from to point to a dealer . Let me know, Willing to help an ethuasiastic builder.
Great job! I'm building a machine myself. This said, the project is slightly different than yours. What have you used for your ball feeder? What motors?
The motor is a DC 12V to 30V. 5600 RPM motor with a max power of more the 1500 watts depending on the voltage. I use a regular 19v 150W laptop power supply.
Before getting this far with the current wheel . I tried at least 10 different materials and sizes. The wheel was custom made . Just wanted to know if you tried any wheels available in the market so far. At what stage are you with this project? I will surely help you out; so that you don't have to go through the same trouble.
