Not so much the clamp mount, you will need to get a third party clamp but there are other handles, chest mounts, neck mount, and suction mount by DJI. That's what I can think of. If you go for gopro mounts just make sure to pick up extra magnetic clamps to attach it and get a gopro grab bag to help attach gopro accessories. I hope that helps 🙂
See, from no comments to now your post has 11 comments and several views and likes... When a RU-vidr pays attention to people in their comments, it grows and gains people's admiration!
A cool tip would be how to make the text adhere more realistically to the cat's body, so that it looks like it really belongs to the cat's body. I think that would have been a cool tip... And don't forget to check if this tool is now available in version 19 FREE, because it was never free... Search and let us know, if you can... a lot of people will be rooting for you, you can bet
Thanks for the tip. Also, I just checked the free version (on my laptop), and you are CORRECT. I apologise for that. I am currently working on fixing the title and thumbnail. Should be fixed in the coming hour. I will keep this in mind going forward in future videos to double-check.
@@McFilmin Wow, I don't even know what to say to you... It's so hard to find RU-vidrs who act like you that we're at a loss for words to express our gratitude and all the effort and affection you put into your channel. You're going to go far, you're going to be successful! I subscribed to your channel to see you grow more and more and achieve success! Congratulations, thank you and continued success!
Look, this doesn't affect the quality of your video or your teaching, which was very well done... but it wasn't free and I believe it still isn't free... You could check this and tell everyone who visits your channel... If it became free in version 19, there will be people setting off fireworks.
Please don't come and say that the FREE part is in relation to the video or what you teach, the content... Because they are all FREE CLICK BAIT without any morals
@@McFilmin Well, it only changed because Surface Motion can't be used in the paid version... now if that changed in version 19 I don't know! If it did, I could have said so because many would celebrate if this tool became free.

What does this FREE part mean? Because it seems to say that you were going to teach a way to achieve the same thing in the FREE version of Davinci. CLICK BAIT without any honor!

Not working good at all.. im trying to track my cat, so i put the point on his face since theirs contrast.. so right when he turns his head for a second it loses track and stops.
Great tutorial - I've got some clips I upload to stock video sites where I've had to blur logos, and am looking forward to trying this method as with the old way it almost had to be done frame by frame and was very time consuming. One thing I don't know is possible or not is keyframing the window within a clip, so that when something like a logo shows up for 5 seconds you can keyframe the window to blur it, then have the window go away. To get around this I have clipped the section out and treated it as it's own clip, but if keyframing windows is possible that'd be awesome.
I am glad it worked for you. I don't understand the people who try to tell you something different. It's a lut designed by the company that makes these cameras. You don't need anything else unless you want something creative but it's a great starting point
Word of advice: you won't be able to follow this tutorial to the fullest with the free version of Resolve, the paid upgrade is needed. Still, a good and useful one though.
@@McFilmin yeah! I bet it is absolutely worth it! My comment wasn't ill intended, and certainly I would purchase the full license soon to make the switch from Premiere.
I understand your comment wasn't ill intended. If you're looking for a new camera, I would recommend a Blackmagic pocket because they give you the studio license as a bonus.
I just bought mine 3 hours ago. Setting it up was a pain. It wasn't connecting to the app. Finally got it done, it took a while. Your videos are very educational on other settings I was having problems with. If I get the hang of this I'm getting sony a6700. I was undecided on which one to get, but I got this just to get my feet wet. I can get the sony later. I just assumed that this would be more user friendly.
I find for initial set up make sure there are no bluetooth devices connected to the phone. Make sure bluetooth and wifi is turned on. You won't regret a sony camera it pairs nicely with the dji pocket 3 😁
It is far inferior to special plugin that do it faster specially with Nvidia GPU, NEAT does it faster and better sure it cost money but it is far superior plugin for that
@@McFilmin The best noise reduction happens inside the camera after the analog signal from the sensor becomes digitized and before it's compressed into a video file. If the camera cannot get rid of the noise at that point, any extra noise reduction In post will just remove the fine detail and muddy up the color information. That's why its silly The best bet for this is increasing the signal entering the sensor so a faster lens will help tremendeously
I agree but in some situations, especially low light, run and gun. You don't have the time to NR in camera and need to crank exposure up as much as possible. It's happened to me on a recent broadcast TV documentary shoot. That's why post NR is a must in situations. Anyway this video is just a demo using new tools. No need to argue lol
@@odessitfromshz I exclusively use raw, magic lantern raw infact. No internal noise reduction there. I'm just referring to the noise reductipn that happens in camera while the image is still in the linear raw domain. Camera manufacturers know their cameras so they have best noise profiles for the camera. Problem is they're mostly general so for specific fine tuning RAW works the best.
How's rendering time? 5-6 times slower than real time. No miracles there. Its only useful when you do professional paid jobs, youtube compression/noise reduction does fine for me.
It's slow now, yes, but hopefully, when it's out of beta, blackmagic fixes it. It's good the other ways of NR help you, but this is the new way. NR has always been useful for professional work. I wouldn't bother doing it for my youtube videos. Thanks for pointing out the obvious 😅
sick tutorial. easy way to get physical glow on the actor and background is to use a flashlight as your hilt and put translucent colored plastic on it. easy.
woah, super helpful :) Thank you so much for showing us, how to master the 3 important AR´s. I just got my Osmo Pocket 3 and already ask myself to film in 4k 16:9 or 3k 1:1 (3072x3072) Thats still a lot of resolution. Is it enough to fit the 1:1 image to a 16:9 4k timeline in Davinci? I heard, that it is sometimes common to film directly in 1:1 to have better results in Post
@@McFilmin They do look pretty amazing. Currently using a Gopro Hero 10 and Insta 360 X2. Want to move to the DJI Action 5 when it comes out and replace the hero 10.Then i can easily sync my DJI Mic 2's to it without a media mod. Tossing up whether to get an Insta 360 X4. I use the X2 a lot skiing and its so easy to edit on your phone while away. Probably my most used camera.
Look Dehancer its $400, and film creator its damn close or better, Davinci $299 and you get way, way more then Dehancer, now if you have the studio version, its free and film look its on version 1.0.
