I have spinal stenosis in L3, L4, L5. Took epidural injections last year and have not had reoccurrence of disabling pain. Had a hip replacement in Jan., PT went well, no issues. Had recent thrombectomy for extensive DVT, thigh into groin and pelvis; small pulmonary embolism in right lung, waiting to see if body gets rid of it. On blood thinner. Have been doing short routines of leg exercises, 3 X per day, only 10 min. Or so. My mom died and I also just stepped aside from work position to less demanding one; all 3 events are affecting energy and motivation. Do not want to take anti depressants. Having to lie on my back with no movement for 8 hrs after my procedure kicked my back pain into gear and I can't take ibuprofen, naproxen, or oral steroids due to blood thinner. Is it safe to try some beginner yoga or pilates or even zumba as I need to get myself back into a routine without hurting my back?
Several years ago i decided to eliminate all sugar from my diet due to its inflammatory effect. About a year later i went mad and ate a whole box of maltesers and a packet frutellers. The next morning i woke up with atrial fibrillations and both thumb joints swollen
yea keep lowering ldl levels so you can put infants on statins you doctors disgust me just keep pushing your drugs hope the drug companys are paying you good
This is an excellent, thorough tutorial for anyone on an anticoagulant. My mother is currently battling these nuisance nosebleeds and I am going to have her watch this so she can be less stressed out about them. Thank you!
This video was so amazing. I have never watch any video with such good information and knowledge. Thank you so much for your hard work and energy you put in this video. I am very old and I am living all alone by myself. This video help me to stop my noise bleeding . I am going to follow your advice .❤❤
My mother had liver cancer and bad blood clots in both lungs, her heart & legs. She died a horrible death over 55 hours. Hospice did not get there until 4 hrs before she died.
If pts damages the valves like you claim. Then why doesn't venous reflux present the same way as pts. Alot of times there is blood flowing back down. But alot of people don't have the sever burning or pain that is present in pts. So is it really valves or something else going on
thanks for the very informative video and now I have the knowledge to discus this with my upcoming Pulmonologist, Cardiologist hematologist about my options, Again Thank you
None of my drs recommended any type of treatment after my PE. I am 44 and was very active before. You will probably have to advocate for yourself like I did! I reached out to the American Lung Association and they recommended cardiac rehab 3. My local hospital does not offer it. I asked my pcp for a referral to PT and it’s a month out to get in. Good luck and keep fighting!
No distinction between substance and method. I mean just the act of inhaling smoke could be the causal link, not the substance per se. The medical profession needs to get it's act together and work out the nuances.
I recently had multiple pulmonary embolism and the vascular surgeon encouraged me to proceed with a clot extraction. My heart was distressed and now the right side is enlarged. I was told if I didn't do that procedure it would take months to recover. I wonder why your Dr didn't talk about that type of procedure with you??
I'm 67 and 3 years ago I was put on Atorvastatin/80mg, Ramipril/5mg and Apixaban/5mg for vision lose in the right eye that would come and go. Over the 3 years it just kept getting worse to the point of total vision lose. I finally took the pills and threw them in the garbage. I'm now taking Nattokinase and Serrapeptase and in 1 month 90% of the stroke symptoms have stopped. I had a skin tag under my right eye that disappeared in the first week. I have also scars that are deminishing. I am also in A-fib, but the heart specialist ran every test he could think of and came to the conclusion that my heart was as strong as a bull and has signed off on me.
Drs. are educated by phamacutical companies. They lost alot of money from legal pot. There are Drs whom prescribe cannabis who contradict much of this "information" Pot is more dangerous than cigaerrtes according to "studies' Pot is STILL a gateway drug too and on and on. And Drs act like prescription drugs are benign - they dont tell you side effects anymore. Whatever.
I have now had two "minor" nose bleeds and these I stopped by ONLY pressing on the nostril which was bleeding, for about a quarter of an hour, this is far more comfortable than pinching the nose, This single nostril method allows one to keep breathing thru the "good nostril"and also to talk. I am now keeping a regular notation (graph) of my BP an note when the effect of my (candesartan = angiotensin two receptor blocke,r AND isosorbidemononitrate = blood vessel relaxant ?) are no nlonger effective ; this seems to be after 8 eight hours,. For the major nose bleed the British ( UK) emergency sevice came to my house within 20 mins of my call, they took my BP and did an ECG before ambulancing me to the nearest (Bristol ) emergency hospital room. I had to wait about and hour to be seen by a Dr and he said " I see a clot so just keep the nose klip and use when necessary". I caught a bus home 20 mls . I can not think what would have happened if I ad been seen at night,
After a blood clot? Does that mean after the blood clot has disappeared or immediately after being diagnosed with a blood clot? It seems as if a lot of moving around might jar a piece of the clot to come loose and travel to the lungs. I'm not sure if I should be taking it easy and just doing light walking around the house or if I should be exercising, like say walking several miles a day which is my customary exercise, along with push-ups and bench dips. 12:15
I'm not nay saying an educated doctor, I'm a plumber and he doesn't tell my job but does have a problem with me charging what they charge per hour, but. I started smoking weed at 12 in 1976. I got into heavier use in highs school and then even more and all day use when I started working and could afford a habit. I've never taken more then a few weeks off of all day smoking in all these years. I had two heart attacks in 2002 and a five way heart by pass. When I got home after surgery, I stopped cigarettes but kept smoking pot. I then had another small heart attack in 2020 and they then install three stints. I still smoke weed. It has never been a problem for me, my heart issues are inherited and its a cholesterol issue, I could eat nothing and still produce too much into my blood stream, I take 80 mg of lipitor. I also take, three different BP meds, and plavix. I use pot too sleep and keep my mood level and anger issues down. But I'm still a wake up and do until bed time, I play music all day and stay home, walk a little everyday. But for me, it works, I like it, I will probably never stop unless it becomes a coughing issue because it hurts to cough. But it works for me.
Is it not the Triglycerides in modern studies LDL never killed anyone and the use of Nattokinase - Improve blood flow, prevent thrombosis and can clean out all the plaque.
Lowering LDL has been the Medical Community’s strategy for decades And Heart Disease is still the number 1 killer We need a new strategy….perhaps eating real food, no seed oils, no ultra processed foods, low sugar….and stop demonizing saturated fats!
Here's the truth... about cholesterol: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rdgS3PuSuyg.html about statins: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-I7r4j1u42V8.html about seed oils: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--xCr3mvFCHM.html
Statins have been shown to increase damage to your muscles (LDL helps to reduce inflammation during recovery), increase Coronary Artery Calcification (CAC), “Oxidized LDL”, as well as reducing the elasticity of the endothelial walls within your vascular system. This is why people should get an Advanced Lipid Profile (in conjunction with a low-carb/moderate protein diet) instead of a standard lipid panel, because it can show all the different types of LDL
Back to the basic, why healthy floating LDL-C is considered "bad" at the first place? Does Statin and other medication help reduce the damaged LDL-C? If buoyant LDL-C is not an issue, all the discussions here are meaningless.
who are the major donors to this organisation - follow the money - Is big Pharma involved promoting tablets rather than diet - no money in a healthy low carb diet - AMGEN is a Big Pharma company naturally interested in sales of drugs - please do some research not every cure comes from a tablet
i have high triglycerides. when I reduce it through excercise, ldl sky rockets. can you please give an explanation? my ldl is 208, triglycerides is 276. previous it was 160 and 321 respectively.
check out keto lifestyle also lean mass hyper responders and see Dr Paul Mason - Low Carb Down Under 3 part series on statins and LDL - Those with low LDL have higher mortality than those with elevated LDL - Also if your a carb addict following the Standard American (Australian ) Diet, get your fasting insulin tested and also check your Insulin Resistance IR = Trigs/HDL ratio in mg/dl it should be below 1.9 and ideally below 1 see Dr Sten Ekberg - How Long Does It Take To Reverse Insulin Resistance? plus some others on IR - info only, but a keto PHD lifestyle will help - I am 73 - 20 months Keto - weight loss 37kgs - IR was 3.8 now 2.0 - Daily Insulin 140 now 7 units a day - HDL was 0.9 (35) now 1.4 (54) - trigs 3.1 (275) now 1.2 (106) - HBA1C was 8.5 now 5.6 - do some research you are being lied to big time to protect big food and big pharma - lots of vlogs but you tube promoting plant based lies over the keto proper human diet by demonitising or putting them lower in the search algorythmn
When I was coming down with covid my afib became much worse, actually gave me chest pain, immediate pressure headache, high bp and high heart rate. Have had similar episodes since and now on meds. So covid exacerbated afib for life.
