Kaleti Williams is the actor who plays Amaleckiah. Known to play lots of "bad guy" roles in Hollywood... But, also works full-time Rady's Childrens Hospital (Mental Health/ Psych Dept.) and Coaches Youth Sports (during is off-time) in Southern CA. Also, my dad (father of 3 and married high school sweetheart since 1989) So in real life he follows the footsteps of Cptn. Moroni. And I agree with others, Cptn. Moroni is the "real" Captain America. It would be really nice to see a full feature film of Captn Moroni story. Truthfully, I think it would be a great idea for the world to see during these times.
Aww Thanks for sharing. I ironically reacted with outrage, as many others about the book of mormon, after receiving a witness it was true. Especially after combat from war in Afghanistan, I wanted, still want peace. When I don't let my powerful natural man get the best of me, I get strength and peace back reading the Book of Mormon. With God, we are most certainly never alone. 🙏 💓
29 years ago, I had studied many Christian faiths and felt lost and confused on Biblical doctines for which all churches I looked into could not give me answers. I prayed and felt peace, that answers would come. Then I got a college job working at WDW. A coworker shared the restored gospel with me, and I completely rejected it. Yet she stayed a good and patient friend. Her Christ-like example softened my heart until I was willing to truly listen and pray. As with Lehi and Nephi, one night while listening to her family teach me, the Holy Ghost filled the room with light. I had only had this happen once before when I testified of God. I knew the Church was true! That sister and her husband and children are my family's closest friends. She who courageously shared the Gospel with me played the mother of Nephi and Lehi in this amazing video. My five children, wife, and I all are grateful for her Christian courage in patiently sharing her testimony of Christ and His restored Church.
I love these videos. But one thing I’ve observed a lot of in this church is that the white people think of Polynesians as warriors, soldiers, security…they think of them as fighters because of their size. Are polynesian people not smart enough to become leaders in the church. It’s so saddening that Utah, predominantly white people seem to mistreat and blame Polynesians for things but when it comes to needing protection…Polynesians are the first people they turn too. I feel bad for polyneisans being treated this way in a church that is supposed to represent the Lord, who have born and raised children to serve missions and wear their name tags representing the name of our Savior. I have friends both Polynesian and white in the church…wonderful people but I when I attend church I see the division between the two. I’ve heard talks given about loving one another but where is that love when people choose to discriminate. Being white doesn’t mean that you make it to the celestial kingdom or heaven. It’s the pure in heart. Charitable love and kindness to one another. I’m not saying all white people in Utah are like that but most. Polynesians are wonderful people, to see this in the church is sad and quite disgusting. I feel for them and the minorities of the church. No one is perfect but effort is appreciated when it comes to the minorities in the church. Don’t preach what you don’t practice. It’s sad when you’re a return missionary and you come home and discriminate, judge and stereotype a certain ethnic group. It’s even more pathetic, shameful and more sad when people who are not of this faith more CHRISTLIKE than the actual members themselves.
So...wasn't Captain Moroni and his title of liberty so great that it was supposed to solve all this?! Is it possible that peace would have been preserved if they had only buried their weapons like the PREVIOUS covenant made by the Anti-Nephi-Lehies? Was that covenant no longer "good"?! I can't be the only one to have actually read this to realize that the strategy of the covenant of the stripling warriors only secured peace for 2-4 years.
Moroni must have been some kind of man for the scriptures to say that if every man would’ve been like unto Moroni the powers of hell would’ve been shaken forever, and the devil would never have any power over the hearts of men
This helped me put off getting out of an abusive relationship. Oh well, maybe my own due time wasn’t ready to accept divorce cuz when I asked God he said of course girlfriend, I’ve got your back. I’ve always had your back.
