Hey Isaac! A great place to start your tag research and units in New Mexico is using GoHunt, and also define some goals for your self once you decide on some units.
Hey! Thanks for watching! This was in the southern AZ parts, coues are very tough to spot, definitely gotta spend time behind the glass and hit the e-scouting way in advance, this will cut out some time spent searching for watering holes and roads, when the hunt does come be ready to hike your tail off 😁
Here in Tn. we rarely get shot ops to that distance. My old Jennings bow doesn't have the speed to maintain K.E. past 30yds. My 60 year old eyes dont either. Our biggest challenge is not our shooting. Its having once accessible hunting land turned into housing subdivisions that drive the deer farther out every year. Whats left is in the hands of people that charge larger hunting fees every year. Vehicle collisions, landscaping damage and disease transmission because of overpopulation doesn't inspire them to lower their rates. So, its good that you are reminding us to prepare, but our best chance for a good season its either lots of travel or deep pockets. Keep shooting.
Copy that! That is very unfortunate to hear, but I hear ya. To get the longer distance shots in I usually take a 30 minute drive to my National Forest to get some of these shots. Very nice and peaceful. As long as I get at least some 20 yard reps in at home as well it works out 🙏🏼 thanks for watching!
@@GalacticLoss123 For sure man! These shorts don’t really give a lot of context but I do a lot of Wildland fire prevention education with Smokey bear, help do prescribe burns in wildfire threatened communities in the winters, and during summer months I help with fighting wildfires.
