Kaiju Paradise has been trying to disassociate from Changed for 2 years according to the devs. The devs when the game was first being developed didn’t know that the concept of transfur and Changed originated from NSFW content, and when they did learn about it, they’ve been working on trying dissociate from Changed all together. Especially because the associations with Changed causes the devs to get constant harassment and even death threats from people. I think them enforcing this rule is extremely valid. Changed is NSFW, so them enforcing this rule makes sense, since they already have rules against dressing up as NSFW characters in game or discussing NSFW content in game. Kaiju Paradise is trying to form its own identity for itself, instead of it having to ride off the backbone of a nsfw game. But this is just my own opinion about this change, basing it off some of the things the devs have talked about when it comes to making changes to dissociate from Changed and the transfur concept.
@@espisstuff4775 Wether or not they want to break away from Changed. The only way I see it is to either remove the entire factor of transfur (making the game utterly pointless) and otherwise, which ig is the same thing just remove the game in its entirety it in general?? Also I never knew the devs were uneducated in the fact that “Changed” existed, was a lead developer the cause of this? because for said ‘years’ they’ve been trying to hide (or breakaway from) Changed. Honestly if they wanna make a NSFW using a kids game (aka Roblox…. yay….) is just a great idea, there is so many assets of changed on stream workshop too, and they receive hate from (I’m guessing) the changed devs, if so, I see why, they are unfairly making a nsfw look childish etc…… (Not judge anything, just interested in what you wrote)
@@thebailzchannel A lot of the decisions were Blaxor’s choice. A lot of people in the Roblox community started to become very vocal about their concerns of the existence of KP back in around 2023, and it started to turn into a decent amount of people harassing the devs, and Blaxor had been discussing in the server’s KP discussion channel (back when it was around) about what he was going to do. Blaxor has a dilemma during this period, where he either got rid of transfur, or privated the game. He decided to remove transfur, as it would allow the game to live while trying to get rid of the problematic content. Right now, the solution is temporary, where the animations are just gone, but eventually the devs will add an all new system for how infection will work. The game will still be an infection PVP game, just will disassociate from the transfur sub-genre, and rather will do its own thing. (This will most likely be related to mutation in some way, since the new KP lore describes gootraxians as radioactive mutants, instead of being parasites). There has been a lot of things over time that were removed or scrapped due to being too similar to Changed, such as Tiger Shork, Slime Pup Dragons, a Lang replacement, a once planned Moth gootraxian, and Catte’s original design using a cone instead of a bucket. All of these were removed or scrapped due to being too similar to Changed. Originally though, the way they planned on setting themselves apart from Changed was to make the transfur animations a lot more gruesome and violent, but ultimately, they scrapped the idea in favor of removing the animations until they create a new infection system, especially after KP got taken down for a bit due to somebody mass reporting the game. Blaxor has made a lot of the decisions when it comes to what to do with the game, but he also discusses with the rest of the development team in order to make decisions on what they’ll do. A lot of the KP community itself also agreed with disassociating Changed and removing Transfur, being very vocal and even providing ideas for how a new infection system could work, and even in a community poll, a lot of people were in favor of removing transfur. The reason the devs had no idea about the true nature and origins of transfur and Changed was because back in like, 2020-2021, transfur games suddenly became a huge trend, with RU-vidrs like Flamingo bringing a lot of attention to these games without knowing where the origins are from themselves. Blaxor when developing the original version of KP (aka The Underground Facility) was basically following behind the trend, and when TUF had to be taken down due to copyright issues, KP was developed to give the community another game they could play, while they worked on The Final Experiment (which was supposed to be the big project that Kp was meant to be a prototype version of, but they later decided to scrap TFE in favor of just making KP the big project). KP has had a very rocky history when it comes to development overall, with the devs needing to remove and replace a lot of content due to dramas or people who contributed certain gootraxians (Carneline, Panther, and Plantix for example) not wanting to associate with KP/wanting their work taken out. (The only gootraxians that weren’t removed/replaced for these reasons being the Protogens due to them being a pre-existing species and the devs wanting to make something more original, and Glubby because it just got bullied out of the game basically for practically nobody in the community liking it. Blaxor also plans on having Melon Shork replaced by a banana eel gootraxian in the future due to Blaxor not wanting what is basically a self insert species in game anymore). But despite the rocky development and history, the devs are still going strong and trying to develop KP further, and wanna make it better than it ever was.
@@espisstuff4775 nah you're alg. Took me around 5 mins to read. Very interesting, so they plan on becoming pretty much what like Players VS Monsters?? removing the ironic gootraxians? Like they did remove the animations, but it STILL appeals to the "puddles" transfuring, (I have played Changed myself, (if you scroll down to April 2023 in my live streams it was the first Non-Roblox thing on this channel) the puddles cause transfuring.... so idk what the difference between no animation and animation is except it being more indirectly referencing Changed), the future for Kaiju Paradise looks dull if so... feels like it might die out due to misstargeting audienced because PVP and Changed based audiences are sooooo.. different.

No? 😅 this week I missed Roblox Variety yesterday because I was too tired and so because next week there isn’t a Roblox Variety due to The Attempt: Fourth Edition which is running on Saturday, I rescheduled Roblox Variety to today, after next week Roblox Variety will resume as normal on Wednesday afternoons at 5:30 PM (GMT+1000)
